It reminds me of my neighbors..........
One time I recieved their Discover card statement in our mail but didn't realize it was theirs (we have a Discover card also). Well......I opened it and then proceeded to have a near heart attack. I immediately marched in the house and asked my poor hubby what in the hell he had done.....the balance was over 10,000!!!!!!![]()

After my poor hubby professed innocence ten times over I really looked at the bill and saw it was my neighbors.....poor people......but atleast it wasn't ME!!!!![]()

Kermit said:I haven't seen that commercial in a while. It does make me laugh, but I find it incredibly sad that people think that the "solution" is to get a home equity loan. Yeah, just keep spending more money than you make, and finance stuff for 30 years. Even things like lawn mowers that you won't have around in 10 more years. Ugh.

Grumpy's Gal said:I have seen this commercial a lot of times. But everytime I see it, I laugh out loud. Even if I'm the only one here. I know it's not a funny topic -- it's sad and it really happens. But this lawnmower man just cracks me up. I have no idea why.....Anyone else laugh at this guy or at other commercials?
Same here! DH and I will be flying to Hawaii for free when we get ready to go.DisneyDotty said:That's a great commercial!
And I agree that a large credit card bill isn't necessarily bad--we put everything on our card, but pay off the balance monthly. So yes, there's always a gasp as we open the bill, but then write the check and start over next month... (Gotta earn those miles somehow!)

We also love the commercial with the couple who have agreed to live in a tiny house where everything is too small - it's supposed to be advertising a new reality show. For some reason I actually LOL on this one even though it's actually a Geiko commercial. I thought it would make a good reality show.![]()
