Well we finally made it here after waiting one long whole year. My in-laws are with us and were all just having such a blast!! It's been raining today, but not to much. I'm from washington after all so, I'm used to the rain. It sure does chase most of the people out. We have rode almost everything we have wanted to 3 maybe 4 times each and have not had to wait any longer than 10minutes for anything. Tonight we rode splash 3 times in a row. Just stayed in the log and they kept putting us through. My husband and mother in law got soaked:rotfl: and I sat in the very back and didn't get wet at all. It was just the three of us in the log. Love:love: that ride soooooo much. All the cast members have all been real sweet and friendly. Really haven't eaten in the park because on the way to the hotel from the airport we went to Albertsons and picked up some food. This has already saved us lots of money. We also ate at Captain Kids which is right across from our hotel (BWPPI) and the food was actually pretty good. The only other place we'll go to eat will be the Blue Bayou on Tuesday. We'll gotta go and get some sleep to get up for another day at Disneyland.:cool1: :cool1: Feel free to ask any questions if you like.:)

P.S. I'M JUST NOW POSTING THIS BECAUSE I FELL ASLEEP LAST NIGHT SO THIS MORNING I'M POSTING IT!

How's the mainstreet repaving going? still lots of boxes around?

Sounds like you are having a great time! Today you are really getting the rain though. Great news for you as it will keep the locals away even if their kids are out of school for Lincoln's :bday:

We were there Tuesday last week and the Friday before. Yes there are some of those shorter boxes up and down the street. They move them around alot.

aahhhh..i'm so glad you are having a happy time. we went this time last year and it was so nice to be in the park and be able to ride the rides over and over without long lines.

have a great time and make lots of wonderful memories.:goodvibes

I am sooo jealous about the ride wait times, and on a Sunday??!!!! WoW!

I love reading about people have a great time and enjoying Disney. I will have to remember beginning of February as a great time to go!!

Have a great remaining time on your trip...hope you all continue to have a blast! :thumbsup2

so Jealous!! So fun to hear about other's trips. Beginning of Feb. is my Favorite time to GO!!! NO LINES!! YEAH FOR YOU!

I was there this past Saturday (Feb. 7) just at Disneyland Park, not California Adventure, and I have never had so much fun at a theme park in my life. It was my first trip there (have been to WDW MANY times, including 2 weeks ago) and Disneyland Park was better than any of the parks in FL. The park was open from 7am - 12am (got magic morning staying at Disneyland Hotel) and it was pretty empty all day. Never waited more than 20 minutes (and that only twice, rest of the time was 5-10 minutes or nothing!) and never used a fastpass! Only things closed all day were Haunted Mansion, Tom Sawyer Island (or whatever they call it there) and Tarzan's Treehouse. Alice was closed most of the day as was the Teacups, but rode both before they closed and Alice again later that night. Rode Space Mountain NINE times, including three times in a row at 7:30 without getting off the rocket!

So much fun, and I want to go again when it rains!

woohoo! JEALOUS! Thanks for thinking of us, and keep on having a fab time! :goodvibes

Sounds like you're having an awesome time, that's great! I'm so envious of you for getting to stay on Splash, can't lie, lol.

I'd love to hear more about BWPPI when you have a chance. We're going there for the 1st time near the end of March. Have a great rest of the trip!!

Sounds like the perfect time at the park. The last couple of times we were there last year, Fridays and Saturdays were of course packed beyond belief, but Sundays we were able to ride everything in the entire park and our favorites we rode 5-7 times! It was the best. And the weather was perfect. I could only imagine what it's like when it's sprinkling outside. :)

Little rain never hurt anyone. :)

And boy did it rain yesterday! lol Sunday the rain wasn't as bad but I don't remember the lines being so short either. Space Mtn had a huge line...the wait was 50-60 min. when we were there. We had FP tho so no worries. :) We also didn't stay late so that may have been why as well. I'm glad you're having fun OP! :)
