first i's like to say that i've asked this question to a few friends and non can answer

i'm not blonde- i have been to florida at least once a year
and me or my family can't remember if the sunsets later in florida than is the northeast during winter???

here in jersey its dark by 5:00

can you guys enlighten this exbiologist turned mommy from jersey that is experiencing brain freeze

You can also get sunrise/sunset along with your weather from www.weather.com. Type in 32830 for the zip, and click on Details to get sunrise/sunset. I think sunset today is at 5:30.

It is not a "blond moment." The correct term is "Mommy Brain." You couldn't figure out a Trigonometry function to save your life but...

You know the shoe size of everyone in your house.....
How each one likes his/her pancakes.....
Where the raisins are in the local grocery store....
And the pediatrician is on speed-dial.

I know because I've got 4 kids, ages 18 months to 9 years. Don't take it so hard, your brain is busy now with more important things than the earth's rotation around the sun. Give yourself a break!

Closer to the equator the length of the daylight period varies less during the seasons. So in December Florida will have a longer "day" then the northern U.S. but in June the northern U.S. will have a longer "day".
