I'm going to see Bon Jovi on Sunday!!!!!

Wahooooo!!!!

After being a fan for 21 years I was delighted to hear they were playing at the new O2 Arena (not Wembley Stadium as I said first!) . However, tickets sold out before I got any and the only option I had was paying silly money on eBay - no way!

Just by chance I went to Ticketmaster this morning to see some more tickets have been released but oh no, Denise is going down to Devon to see family this weekend and I don't want to go alone - oh no!

Enter my friend who has recently moved over from Belfast and I know likes Bon Jovi but I'm not sure he likes them enough to pay £75. A few texts later and yes he will pay and yes he does want to go - wooooo hoooooo!

I get to see Bon Jovi live again!

Yay. How lucky. You will have a great time. We could of seen Bon Jovi back in 96, but we landed back from Florida on the day of the concert. We live 3 hours away from Milton Keynes. We said no. Today we still kick ourselves up the back end. We keep saying why didnt we just book a hotel in Milton Keynes

Thank you - they seem to get better every time I see them play and Lost Highway is fabulous, hope they play summertime on Sunday.

As for you seeing them - I have heard they will be doing a proper UK tour in 2008 - there's your chance.

I just dont know what we were thinking at the time. Now we have children, sitters are hard to come by. I bet they were great. I love Bon Jovi's music.

I saw Bon Jovi at Milton Keynes in 2001 - it rained in the afternoon during the support, Match Box 20 and someone else, but then the sun came out for Bon Jovi and they played for almost 3 hours. The set was a big hotel and they all rose up to appear in different rooms - fantastic.

It's great they are still going strong - in 1986 when I was 12 they were the first band that I really really liked and have been my favourite band since.

I'm lucky enough to have seen a lot of my favourite bands/artists: Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Posion, Whitesnake with Steve Vai, Wendy James (post Transviaion Vamps days but she still rocked and was lovely to chat to) and more recently Katie Melua. As much as they have all been great Bon Jovi concerts are always that much better than anything else.
