Yeah we have decided to go to DLRP next year for my Birthday & New Year!

I am so excited. I must get a new ticker.

Lots of advice needed, who to book with, where to stay, when will I be able to book?

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

great news Claire, you must be so excited. We are hoping to go in April for my birthday. but it very much depends on whether I get the job that I had an interview for last week !! Fingers crossed I will hear something soon.
I am no Disneyland Paris expert, we have been twice for New Year, so if I can help in anyway please let me know. If I dont have the answers one of the Paris experts will ...

great news !!! my wee brother works out there he's jack sparrow and goofy!! hope you have a fab time planning

Thanks Jules. I was wondering when the best time to book was and who with?

Hi Claire

When we went in New Year, I think I booked around June ?? We booked with Cresta and flew out of Bristol to Charles de Gaulle. I had no complaints at all with Cresta, they handled everything really well and were able to help us book dinner reservations for New Years Eve ...

i can get a discount on tickets and he has brought home props from characters and my niece got sleeping beauty's dress that was in a parade ..

Hi

How exciting. We went in Aug this year. If you have any q's pop over to the DLP board. I found it to be great.     It would be great to go back.

I am not sure how long you are going for, but you can get a discount for annual passes I think its 10% if you get sponsored. I am more than happy to sponsor you pm me if you like. The annual passes pending on which one I think was 129 euros to 179 euros minus 10% here is a link to the annual passes. We found the discounts to be useful. If you are able to sponsor anyone after 3 months of your pass you can extend your annual pass between 1-12 months.

1 sponsor - is one month extra
2 sponsors - 3 months extra
3 sponsors - 12 months extra.

In my opinion worth every penny. They are not much more than the standard 2-3 day ticket. They give you flexibility, discounts on food, beverages, merchandise and accomodation

:cheer2: :cheer2: great news, I spent my birthday in DLP a couple of years ago and it was wonderful to see fireworks on my special day

Great news - you will have a wonderful time. Are you hoping to stay on site, if so it will be a case of deciding what your budget is. The Disney hotels have transport to the park but if you stay at the Disneyland hotel you can just stroll straight in (we only got to stay there because we were upgraded free after a booking error - it was fab)

Thanks for all the great advice so far. We will prob go on either the 27th or more likely the 28th Dec and come back on the 1st or 2nd, depends on the price. We will be on quite a tight budget but we have got quite a while to save and it will be my birthday present. I would prefer to stay at a Disney hotel.

ohh be carefull or you PM box will be full of people wanting to meet your little brother. ;)

Disney Direct are usually the cheapest and you should be able to book in June for Christmas/New Year. Depending on what hotel you want to stay in for your dates I would book as soon as the dates become available as Christmas/New year can sell out very quickly at certain hotels along with the euro star and some Airlines.

Hi,
thank you for the great information. Can a US citizen be a Disneyland Paris annual passholder? If so, I am interested in taking you up on that offer! My daughter and I will be there May/June 2009.

Hi Cynthia, yes anyone can be an annual pass holder, regardless of where you live. :goodvibes

There is a separate thread just for annual pass sponsorship here. If you'd like to post on it I'm sure someone will be able to assist you. As you're not going until this time next year, the best time to post will probably be in the New Year. :)
