I'm going on an imaginary trip to WDW -- who wants to come?

(since this is imaginary, the weather is perfect, money is no object for where you stay, all the parks are open to their latest hours, and all events such as parades and fireworks that are currently running are scheduled for today)

I'll be at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, with a room that faces the savanna. I've been watching Travel Channel this week, and they've shown AKL so often I'm dying to stay there.

After I check in, I think I'm going to spend a little bit of time on the balcony watching the animals and relaxing. Not too long, though, because the Magic Kingdom is calling me.

First stop in MK is going to be the Plaza Inn (or is it pavilion at WDW? Ack, I've gotta go back if I can't remember which is WDW and which is DL! ) for one of their great shakes. And since this is imaginary, I don't have to worry about it making me sick.

After snacking on my shake, I think it's off to Tomorrowland for me.

I'll make my way around the Magic Kingdom until time for the fireworks, when I'll have my place perfectly selected on Main Street.

DH, of course, is with me.

Since DH has a new job, and it will be quite awhile until my next REAL trip to WDW, I'd be thrilled to take an imaginary journey today! Thanks for asking.

Is anyone else with you?
It will be DH and I, per usual.

Where are you staying?
I think we'll try the Grand Floridian, since money is no object. We've never had any strong desire to try it, but this may be my only chance to "splurge" in this way.

What are you going to do first (after checking into your resort)?
We'll have to hop on the monorail for a quick trip over to the MK, particularly since we've never stayed at a monorail resort before. I think that the monorail CMs will take pity on us and let us ride in the front car! Yeah - that's it.

Once we're inside, it will be straight to the Haunted Mansion!

Where do you want to eat?
Back on the monorail for a trip to the Contemporary. We've never been to the California Grill and I think it's time we try it.

What's on the game plan for tonight?
Let's head out to Pleasure Island for a long visit at the Adventurers' Club! Kungaloosh everyone!!!!

My favorite area at WDW to stroll down is Main Street. But I'd love to be at any of the parks right now hanging out with my friends. I don't care what I'm doing, I just want to be there!

I'll be staying at the Wilderness Lodge. I think we'll go to the MK today and go ride Splash first. Later we'll go to Tony's for some Italian food and stake out a good spot for Spectromagic. Of course, we won't leave the park until we buy all kinds of things on Main Street - seeing as we have this blank check today. It sure sounds great!

After we check in we'll hop on a bus to MK. I need to walk down Mainstreet right now and soak it all in, it will lift my spirits right up!

I think we'll head straight to Carousel of Progress!

Tonight we are eating dinner at Ohana's and watching the fireworks from the beach! I can't wait

Only 6 months to go but I see my self checking in you know where then off to EPCOT. First ride is always Spaceship Earth, then checking out our picture on Leave a Legacey. Off to Jiko for dinner then back to you know where to hear Bob Jackson on the piano. Of course DH is right by my side. Ho Hum, I wish I was leaving tomorrow.

I'm at the Dolphin in a King room. I'm going to hop on the Friendship Launch and pop over to the International Gateway. I think I just want to meander throught the World Showcase for a few hours. Then I have to head over to Space Ship Earth and then Universe of Energy. Then it's back on the boat and over to MGM. I really need a fix on the Great Movie Ride.

My DS3 would love to join in. Everytime he sees something from Disney, he declares "I want to go there!". He doesn't care where he stays, as long as he has a bed and gets to go to everything he wants to. Of course, since there are no lines (we are dreaming here, right?) so he gets to return time and time again until he tires of the ride. Of course, his DB8 will need to go with because we don't want to cause any sibling rivalry. DS8 will be thrilled to do a lot of things -- Ice Station Cool being one of his favorites.

Since neither of them are old enough to travel alone, DH and I will be joining them. We'll going to stay at the WLV this time. We'll have dinner at Ohana's our first night. Cape May character breakfast and Clam Bake during the trip too. Won't matter when, because, we won't need any PS (another dream)....everything will be at our fingertips and we'll be able to go on every whim.

Okay, I'm ready to start packing.

I'll be staying at the Beach Club, concierge level of course. DH will be with me. Since this is the "Perfect" trip, there will be no crowds to deal with, and I will head on over to MK to ride all my favorites (Splash, Thunder, and Space Mountain, Peter Pan's flight, Winnie the Pooh, and Haunted Mansion) with no wait, and get a perfect parade viewing spot 5 minutes prior to parade time. Maybe we'll watch from the porch at Tony's. Then again, maybe we'll just grab a hot dog from Casey's and sit on the curb for the parade...hmm, so many choices when there are no limits!!!

The I think we'll head over to the Poly, get a drink, and sit on on the beach to watch the Electrical Water Pageant go by, before heading back to the Beach Club for the night.

My Family (me, DH, DS8 & DD4) will be staying at the Yacht Club. After we unpack (I always have to do that first thing) we head on down to Stormalong Bay to swim for a while. The kids are at the age where DH & I don't have to be right on top of them so he & I will sit with our feet in the water and holding hands (something we don't get to do too often now)

For an early dinner we'll head over to World Showcase and Japan to dine at Teppanyaki. Afterwards we'll let DS8 get a pack of Pokemon cards from the small booth there. Then we will stroll through the store in Japan and see what wonderful things we can buy this trip. (DH has a collection of swords he keeps in his office at work. I like to collect the pottery.)

Since there is no parade ( ) we'll head over to Future World and ride on DD4's favorite ride - Space Ship Earth. We'll hang out in FW until it closes and then head back to WS. DS8 will stop at the McDonald's stand there for fries. We'll walk around and just absorb the atmosphere until it's time for the fireworks.

Afterwards we'll slowly walk back to the YC and check the concierge room for night snacks. Back in the room we'll put on the Disney Channel and watch Pepper Ann or whatever show is on that time now. Then we'll shut the lights out around 10 or 10:30. I will wake up shortly after that to hear DH snoring. I will lie in bed awake for a while - not quite annoyed since I am at one of my favorite places. Sigh.

I'm staying at the Dolphin....probably just down the hall from Kath (Nativetxn).

Heading over on a Friendship Boat to MGM to ride TOT and RnR. We will eat burgers at Sci-Fi and then catch the Fantasia Show.

After the show we will walk back in the warm evening breeze and get in a few laps at the pool once we're back at the Dolphin.

Fantastic idea, Rajah!

Since money is no object, we (dh, ds and I) are staying at the Boardwalk with a wonderful view. After a nice walk around the grounds and maybe a dip in the pool, it's off to the Magic Kingdom and straight to Pirates of the Caribbean. We ride as many times as we want and then proceed to ride all of our favorites.

After a fun day at Magic Kingdom, we head over to the Grand Floridian and have dinner at 1900 Park Fare with Cinderella and the gang. No ps needed, of course .

We now go to Epcot to watch Illuminations (which I have never seen). I just love the sparkling Epcot sidewalks at the end of the night.

The night is young so we hit the boardwalk for a while before heading back to our room.

Ahh, that was fun .

Where do you want to eat? Chefs de France or the Fish & Chips stand in UK

What's on the game plan for tonight? PI of course! and lost of action in the dance lcubs plus Comedy Warehouse

Staying at the Poly (concierge) Lagoon view looking straight at the castle!

We will check in the head right over to the volcano pool and grab a nice cocktail. After relaxing and soaking up the sun,and flying down that slide.

We will change for dinner @ California Grill but an early seating as I want to go to MGM and take a ride on R&R, then see famtasmic!

DH,DD & Me I'd also bring my neice (she'e alot of fun to go to Disney with). After fantasmic we'd hit the pool one more time then off to bad for a whole day @ Epcot in the morning!

Ahh, I could use a Disney trip about now!

Where are you staying? I'd have a lagoon view at the Polynesian! 3rd floor of Aeotearoa, to be exact

What are you going to do first (after checking into your resort)?
Hummm. I'm in an Epcot mood today! I think I'd spend some time in Future World, and then take a trip around the World Showcase, stopping in Morocco to get a henna tattoo (I miss mine terribly!)

Where do you want to eat? Cheddar Cheese soup & Pretzel bread from Le Cellier, and then a brownie from the Wilderness Lodge!

What's on the game plan for tonight? Illuminations, and then magically making it back to the Poly in time to watch the EWP from the beach Afterwards, its off to Pleasure Island to check in with the crew at the Adventurer's Club. Kungaloosh!

Is anyone else with you? Well, given this is a dream trip, I am borrowing Orlando Bloom from the Friday Ladies Post a few weeks ago and bringing him with me If he's not available, I'll take anyone who wants to keep me company!
