Here was my awful experience.....
I have called them several times and the people that answer the phones are rude, hateful, short, unhelpful and just downright nasty.
I called the first time and some woman very hatefully, like I had interrupted her sleep, answered "TiffanyTownCar" as if it was one word. I asked for a price and she quoted something off to me. She was so hateful and rude and said it with no breaks between her words that I had to ask her again for the price for a round trip fare on a shuttle to Disney's Pop Century from the airport and she rattled it off again and sighed. I said thank you and she hung up the phone without saying thank you, thank you for calling, we don't want your business, anything.
BTW - I had asked her to repeat it because it did not line up with what was on their website.
My mother-in-law had called me because I provided her with the website address. She said she called to make a possible reservation and the prices given to her were $30 higher than on the site. She requested pricing for both roundtrip fares to and from the airport as well as transportation to and from Universal Studios. She said that the woman she spoke to was very hateful and was aggravated with each question she asked. She said the woman she spoke to would sigh when she would say she had another question. My MIL did not make the reservation.
I called them to ask them about the pricing as I thought I had more tolerance and thinking maybe I would get somebody else. The woman who answered the phone was like the one above, quick, one word answer, hateful, you name it. I told her what had happened with my MIL and being provided the wrong information and hateful reply was then she did not call here, I said she had to have because she gave me the number I just called. The woman then said, well, then she did not know what she was talking about or she asked for the wrong thing. I told the woman thank you, I hung up and I called Mears.
Mears may be a little higher in price, but for the lack of service and hateful attitude coming from the calls we made to Tiffany Town Car, I am willing to spend $50 more in transportation. When I called Mears, I spoke to a gentleman named Ian who was nice, helpful, full of information and certainly was not insulting.
For the kind of money and trip you expect in Disney World, I certainly would not want to start it off on a bad note with these people. In addition, Mears is contracted with Disney and will certainly take care of you. The last experience we had with Mears was wonderful. Pure professionalism and courtesy.
As I said, I do not use the type of language that describes these people (although I sure did think it), I would never use them due to their hateful and insulting comments as well as their refusal to try to make something they did wrong - right by just being nice.
