I'm driving my husband (and everyone around me) crazy!! ... Apirl 23-30, 2013

We like to wing it too. It seems to make DH happier. This time we are doing water parks too. I'm a little afraid that my kids are going to want to go only to the water park. But I guess if they do then we will know better next time how many days we should really buy for our park tickets. :rotfl:

Maybe your DH will end up loving it this time, with so many of his family members around to share it with.

I'm here. I just updated the ADR post at the April 2013 thread and came over here then to say Hi. I can totally understand your frustration with this reservation being in the hands of a TA.

Ha! If only. He's not a fan of the large group going. He's afraid we'll be waiting around for people, and several personalities clash. I'm convinced we're all going our own way, and everyone will be mature enough to enjoy themselves.

At the end of the day, there is really not one thing he's looking forward to about this trip. :confused3

You're great about keeping everything updated, and thank you for it! It's a great *service* you're providing us all with. :grouphug:

No new plans. Finally got stuff in the mail to the TA. Hopefully he can use the PIN and/or the package code that I have as well.

Hubs is out working, left early this morning. Won't return until Wednesday at the earliest. So, I'm sitting with our furballs enjoying the Christmas lights and taking pictures of them (lights and furballs, well, one of them).

Here's our tree:

My attempt(s) at a Christmas picture of our pupper dog:

I was amazed at how well she did with stay, guess I shouldn't be upset that she wouldn't look at me. lol

More Christmas fun ...

Tomorrow I get to have a photo session with two of my nephews and a niece. It'll be interesting!!

One of my new favorite threads ... Luggage Tags

I'm going to use Lady and the Tramp and/or Cinderella. My nephew Mickey, Jake and the Neverland Pirates, and/or Pluto. Hubs, Grumpy, Grumpy, Grumpy!! ::yes::

Yeah. This was my morning.

THANKFULLY it was just the lens.

I dropped the camera over the weekend. Hubs freaked as I hadn't had it put away, I'd been using it. I turned it on, all seemed fine ... Until this morning when I actually went to use it. It wouldn't focus and I couldn't get the lens off the camera. Thankfully, my brother got it off. Of course, the lens can't be saved. Though it was a fairly cheap lens, as far as lenses go, it was my favorite. Thankfully the only *session* have scheduled is my nieces/nephews. They can wait a few days until I decide what lens I'm going to replace it with.

Amongst all the chaos on that desk ... Anyone notice the Magic Kingdom map?? :)

Christmas and New Year's Eve ... Gone. Wow. Time flies when you're having fun ... Or when you don't know what you're doing. ;)

Christmas was good to me materialistically. Hubs got me a new lens for my camera not even knowing mine was busted. I did tell him. He kind of laughed even.

I was able to share some Disney love with some friends who are leaving for Disney on January 5 for the week. I'm so excited. When they came over Christmas Eve I had luggage tags for them that I had made here on the DISboards. I just printed and laminated them. They loved them.

Hubs ended up getting called out to work early Christmas Eve, was supposed to be back by evening. However, the job went down the tubes and he didn't get back until two nights after Christmas.

My folks were horribly sick, still kind of are. Dad with pneumonia. Poor Mom just sick too. The day after Christmas I finally got them to a MedExpress type place and got them meds. They're finally vertical for more than an hour a day.

New Years Eve was a nice relaxing evening spent with friends and family at church, not for services, just to hang out, play games, and eat ... A lot. Hubs was able to spend it with me, for which I am very thankful. He was thankful to have gotten a dear earlier in the day. So, we both went into the new year happy. :yay:

Resolutions:
None. I never make them as I never keep them. ;)

Also, not yet sure I'm a fan of the new reservation system on Disney. I was able to link all mine. However, one shows up that was cancelled. I can't cancel it online. So, I called. They said it shows up as cancelled. Who knows. He did say they were still working out some kinks. We shall see!

That was the original plan. However, we are now staying at POP. :)

Our magnificent mutt is my new victim for my new lens ...

Can't you just tell how happy she is?? lol

Omgoodness what an adorable dog!!! She is so pretty!!!

We had a cat named Cuddles -- not sure why we named her that because she sure wasn't a cuddler. She definitely viewed us with disdain, lol.

What kind of dog is your furbaby? She's precious!

My husband and I are the same way.....no kids (by choice) but we have an English bulldog named Bulldozer that I KNOW gets spoiled more than lots of kids!

Can't wait to hear more about your plans.......planning a big trip with my extended family for next year and keeping everyone happy is going to be interesting! :rotfl:

Thanks! The adorableness keeps her out of trouble ... often.

Disdain. That definitely describes how I feel she feels about us.

Kenai is a mutt. Her mother was a black lab, boxer mix. No idea about her father. Vet says chow. The Vet also said by her temperament she'd be very loyal, loveable, and get lost in her own yard. He's pretty much spot on. lol

So, my folks have a timeshare through RCI. I never really deal with it unless Dad tells me I'm going on vacation with them. :goodvibes Even then, I don't deal with it. He does all the exchanging/depositing/whatever. Well, today he was talking to me about it. I was all glassy eyed as I really have no idea how it all works. He then tells me he wants me to figure it all out. In my digging and reading I find/realize he can exchange/deposit weeks or whatever for Disney resorts. Really? WHY did he not let me see this information before? I did call RCI to confirm. They did say they're not always available and it usually takes a couple weeks to exchange for one week. So, now I am on a mission. I must understand how all this works.
