I'm curious: What are all the craigslisters with four 5-day hoppers doing?

If you look at craigslist, there are a lot of people who claim to have four 5-day park hopper tickets and are selling them for $71-$76 each. (Or maybe it's the same person over and over, but if so s/he does a good job of varying the text.)

What are these people doing, do you think? It doesn't sound like a straight-up scam, though I guess it could be. Could these be some sort of comp or semi-comp ticket that lots of people have access to somehow.

I'm just curious about the mechanics of this.

Welcome to the boards!

I don't have the answer to your question, but someone will certainly be able to give us a perspective on this.

If you don't get an suitable answer in 24 hours, I would try posting your question on the attractions/strategies board.

Yeah, I had trouble deciding in which board to post. I guess I chose wrong, but I'll give it some time.

Most likely they are some kind of promotional or complimentary ticket or ticket with a deadline to use it.

It is a bad idea to buy a ticket from a private party. You don't know whether it is good at all.

hello tuc,
