Hi Everyone! We just got back from our week long trip and had a really great trip. I'm not very good at this trip report thing so I'll just hit certain things.
Best things: MICKEY'S PHILHARMAGIC! I had a wonderful time watching this show and enjoying all of the wonderful music. NO LINES to get in!
TEST TRACK! My 10 year old son rode this ride at Epcot 8 TIMES!
my son doesn't ride ANYTHING that many times! He LOVED it!
VERY MERY CHRISTMAS PARTY: MICKEY'S T'WAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS! The kids and I really loved this show! the characters were all fun to watch and everyone was having a great time.
The Very Mery Christmas Party was EXTREMELY crowded but you could still get to the rides without very much wait time. We had no problem getting our pictures taken or finding the Hot Cocoa and Cookies either.
NOT SO GOOD THINGS: now remember, this is from a Californian's point of view so please don't get offended out there ok?
I was REALLY disapointed with IT'S A SMALL WORLD! yes, I know...Florida is HOT so they make the entrance long and covered. At the California Disneyland SMALL WORLD is a Show Place! it's in a seperate building which is all lit up and sparkly for the holidays! I missed that feature at the Magice Kingdom Florida.
the only other thing I can think of is PIRATES OF THE CARRIBEAN (sp) the ride was different in many ways! the whole front of the ride involves LONG LINES all the way through at MKF...which again is for the heat/sun out there but it's a much nicer ride at MKC because it runs through the Blue Bayou restaurant and the ride seems longer.
Crowds: Nothing much! we had no waits for any of the rides.
although, there were more people there than I thought there would be.
Hotel: Yacht Club Concierge was really wonderful! we had no problems with any of the cast members and our favorite cast member....Trever...was a great help any time we needed anything! She was always there asking and taling to my kids.
the food in the Concierge lounge was AWESOME! my GOSH! I couldn't get better food at the best restaurants! also, the kids
loved the 24 hour availability of Coke products.
So, all in all....it was one of the best trips to DW that we have ever had! I will admit that it's good to be home though!
for those of you who are getting ready to go: HAVE FUN! and MERY CHRISTMAS to EVERYONE!!!!
