I have 2 quick questions. If I'm in the wrong place for asking here then I am sorry.

1.) if I book a breakfast adr somewhere in the studios before park opening will i be able to sneak over and sign up my son for Jedi training before the crowds come in?

2.) I tried for Star Wars desert party for our time in mid December. Nothing avail. Do you think it's sold out or have they just not opened that for booking yet?

I can answer question 2. Dessert party is only open through late September right now. Hoping early October opens soon. Dates have been opening about 4-5 weeks in advance.

1. Yes. No sneaking involved. They allow it.

2. I don't know.

Earliest I could get was 8:05 breakfast on the day we will be there. Park opens at 8 so it doesn't look like I will get into the park early enough to beat the crowds.

Get to the park by 7:15 and go to the Dining Reservation line and let them know you have an 8:05 ADR. You won't be held at ropes like others when they open all gates; you'll be able to head to H&V.

Have one adult check in for breakfast while the other adult takes the child to sign up for JTA. Your family won't be seated at the restaurant until your whole group is complete.

They generally let you in early. If you get there 20, 30 minutes before you can get in earlier than park opening

Also, I just booked the Star Wars party for September. There was quite a bit of availability. When the ADRs open up, no need to panic but I wouldn't procrastinate for long.

We were there on Tuesday. Our reservation was at 8:30am. Got there around 7:40. The gate didnt open until 7:50am. All parties with early ADR were let in at that time. The sign up place is very close to the restaurant. Sign up only takes 2 minutes. we were the second or third family signing up for JTA. Then I changed my res to 8:10am on my phone while standing in front of the restaurant. have a great time!! My kids loved JTA

I checked after I wrote my response and there were still a lot of Star Wars party times available every day; it only shows until the end of September so they will eventually open up. I had made my reservation over a week ago and it isn't booked yet so don't worry. Plus people always cancel. Check the dining board and the dining reservations forums. They always announce when things open up like the Candlelight Processional and other special dining events.
