I'm Back from Camp!

This last week I was at Summer Festival at the University of Wisconsin-Stout in Menominee. It is a really neat Christian camp that includes a real band and college dorms and food. If you want to read up on it, the website is: http://www.christianbuilt.com/summerfestival.

The speaker for the week is in charge of a Christian-based abstinence program out of Pennsylvania. The name of the program is the Silver Ring Thing and you can find out more about that program at: http://www.silverringthing.com.

We went to this christian get-away a few years ago with the youth at my church. It was soo fun, we stayed in a hotel, not a college though. Everynight they had bands and music and stuff. I think the part i liked about it most was when a girl who was in the Library (i think) during the columbine shooting. And she talked to us about the whole deal where one of the shooters asked a person if they believed in God and they said yes, and then they shot her. It was so touching, everyone was crying and hugging each other even if you didn't know them.
