I'm back from a great trip!

Got back Monday from 10 great days in Florida, 3 days in Clearwater, 3 days at Portofino and 4 days at the Yacht Club. Weather was great. I'll try to do a trip report soon, but I'm buried at work at the moment. Any questions??

Yes, I'm very sorry to be back! It was 4 degrees this morning when I left for work!! But I did get to go to your hometown unexpectedly...at least the airport, due to a cancelled flight. Wow, that Atlanta airport is HUGE.

It's great to hear you had a wonderful time! I can't wait to hear what you thought of the Portofino & how you compare it to the Yacht Club!

On our last trip we also did the Portofino - Tampa - WDW Dolphin route!! Where did you stay at Clearwater?

We stayed at the Radisson on Sand Key in Clearwater, our second time there. While not as luxurious as Portofino, we really enjoy it there. The pool area (and pool bar!) are great.

I almost made reservations at the Hilton right at the Pier in Clearwater but we ended up staying in a hotel at Safety Harbor that I got through priceline. We drove down to Clearwater though and spend an wonderful afternoon at the Pier there. I had never before been to the Gulf side of Florida and could not believe the sand! Babypowder soft and almost white as snow!
