A full trip report is in the works, but here's what I have to say....
AWESOME!!!
This was our third DCL cruise, and by far the best. Everything was perfect (well, except the weather, but that didn't spoil anything for us).
Our dining room servers, Dewa (from Bali) and Vijay (from India) were absolutely the greatest ever. With three kids at our table, two of whom are fussy eaters, they made our dining experience truly "Wonder"ful. My granddaughter invited Dewa to move in with us. He turned us down, though. He's going home this month to his own 5 and 3 year old kids for his vacation. Wera, the head server, also went out of his way to make sure that everything was going well for us.
Our stateroom hostess, Marissa, went above and beyond the call of duty by helping us with our surprise gifts for DGD each night, and by making up the extra bed in our room one night for DGD and our niece who were having a "sleepover".
The character interaction was amazing. In my trip report I will tell the story of Shannan (my granddaughter) and Princess Aurora. It's a moment Shannan will probably remember all of her life!
All three kids used their clubs, and all enjoyed themselves tremendously.
Our day on Castaway Cay was the best one we've had so far. The weather cooperated, and I spent a lot of time in the water playing with the kids.
The only down part of the trip was that we had to leave the ship after four nights!
