I'm back and in 1 piece again

Hi DISers, 1st let me thank you all for the most welcome P & PD. My DD (BLONDIE) has posted about my surgery in JUne and follow-up surgery on Sept 30th) Well, I'm back to tell you that all went well and I saw my surgeon this morning for a follow-up check and he removed the external 24-28 staples which were placed in my abdomen. I'm so glad they are out and I am in one piece again with the internal "plumbng" working well. I have been feeling GREAT with very little discomort for which I thank GOD.I am a very optimistic person and try to look at the bright side of things and I believe this helped to speed my recovery. Of course I must say that I had some great support from my DH who changed my dressings for me and the moral support from my
DD.Once again,let me thank you all for you kind thoughts and P&PD
