Hello all,

i am a total idiot. i was selling off my scores of skull rock rooms, wasn't paying close attention (as the computer was lagging so badly), and i accidentally sold my safari tent room.

Does anyone know, is there anyway to get that back? If there is not a way to get that back, how do i get another one? (i think i bought this one on ebay from someone who had gone to Disneyland or WDW to complete a quest)

i wish i had accidentally sold my tiki room or one of the other ones i don't really care about. Oh well.

i have not been on vmk too much lately as, my husband had an accident a little over a month ago and i have been super busy being a caretaker. i just am getting caught back up with all the new stuff.

Anyhow, if anyone knows how i can get a safari tent room, that would be great. i have a bunch of stuff to trade, if that is something that is tradable.

Thanks in advance for anyone's time and trouble to respond.

The only thing I would suggest to do is to play jungle cruise first thing when vmk opens and hope you get on the top 10 score list (it is easier because not that many good players have played yet). Then try to find somebody (perhaps here on the dis?) that is going to WDW and send them the printable certificate pdf and they could redeem it for you and give you the code.

The good thing is that you got 2000 credits for it! (unlike Skull Rock which only gives you 5 credits).

I'm sorry to her that. I agree with that sollution being the best possible. So you don't feel too bad I accidentally sold a river boat room trying to enter it and it had been set up for christmas so I had to redo. Oddly it did not give me an option to cancel that time so it was gone and I only got 150 credit so it was a loss that to me a whole haunted mansion game to make up.

they do need to make that sell button for the rooms alittle different or at least ask twice if you want to sell. I almost sold a room today too by accident.

Try asking VMK to sell it back to you using the help or contact button. Sounds crazy, but it has worked for me (something different, but sorta on the same vein).

I would leave the part about ebay out that could be considered a violation of tos and get you banned

Thanks for the advice and consolation. i may try contacting VMK to see if they may let me buy it back (and won't mention the ebay part). The reason i bought the room code on ebay is because i suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck at the Jungle Cruise game. i have tried getting on at 7am, but could not get anywhere near enough points for a high score, but i will keep trying. i don't live too far from Disneyland. In fact, we had resos end of November (with a great room rate at the Disneyland Hotel) but my husband's accident forced us to cancel. He's doing better now, so maybe i can talk him into a leetle xmas vacation (if i offer to push him around Disneyland in a wheelchair).

Adventuredaz, sorry about your river boat room.

You can sell rooms?
That is one of the things that came in at the same time as Frontierland. Pretty nice feature as I had a some Born-In-Park mules with five rooms each to sell. Really helped to pay for the gifts I ordered.

if you would like i got an extra room the last time i was in DL and i will gladly trade you for it. ;)

i woudl try to see if VMK will give it back first though.

Hi, thanks for the offer. i did sent a request to VMK to see if they will take my 2000 credits and give back the room. i will wait to hear from them. If they aren't cooperative, maybe i can find a group of items you might like.

I think your method of ownership would pose a problem for you in VMK's eyes.

Not trying to be mean, just an opinion.

i understand, but vmk has no knowledge of how the code was obtained. i probably should not have mentioned how i got the code, as it seems to be a problem with some people on the board. Some people trade codes, or have a friend take something to Disneyland or WDW to get codes for them. i was having a problem obtaining the room any other way, so spent a couple bucks to buy a code from someone on ebay who lived close to a park, so had the ability to obtain extra codes.

i'm sorry i even mentioned the ebay part of it. i was just bummed that i really liked that room and inadvertently sold it by clicking too fast with a slow connection. Just wanted to vent. Did not mean to offend anyone.

Shrinky,

I have a few extra code coupons. The problem is, you have to go to WDW/DLR to redeem the coupon! Are you going any time soon? If so, I would be happy to send you the coupon. Let me know!

Thanks, Doc HT - i am trying to find a way to get to Disneyland before the end of the year, even if only for a day. My annual passport expires the end of January, so really really want to get one more trip in before then. If i can get something lined up, i would love to take you up on your offer. Thank you again for being so kind. i will let you know.
