I'm all screwed up after seeing a pic of the Podcast crew

I only started listening to the Podcast after getting my Ipod in August. I ended up friending them on Facebook and looked at pics to kind of associate voices with a face. I guess bc I was still new and confused as to who was who I switched John and Kevin. I realized this yesterday when seeing another pic on FB. For the last 7 months when Kevin would speak I picture John and vice versa. To me the voice of John totally fits Kevin and Kevin's voice totally fits John. Now I'm a big old mess and they don't fit right now LOL. Did anyone else do this?? Or was what you were picturing in your head completely wrong from the real thing? It's like when I saw Kasey Kasem for the first time - I had him so different in my head. LOL I'll have to retrain my brain now.... or I can just leave it the way I think - won't really matter haha

It wasn't until LONG after listening that I finally saw pictures of the gang. And to this day...I still have a hard time putting Kevin's voice to his face lol.

LOL it's so funny how we do that! Even just now I was reading Kevin's review of Flying Fish and totally "hearing" John's voice saying it. Ugh, I wish I never saw that pic haha!! Time to retrain the brain

Hi gang: I believe John is taller. Or is it Kevin. No I think it is John. They were all hard to put a face on, but I am sure they also wondered about some of us until we met.

I listened to the show for a long time before I ever saw photos. I had Kevin pictures in my head as a David Hyde Pierce type. I guess I was a little off

I think it was a ploy to keep him from getting any of the answers. Without him they might not have gotten any of them right.

LOL i couldn't find any of them on facebook or photos on the boards so that I could also 'associate the voice with a face'... My mind compensated by picturing all of them as celebrities I think they sound like.

I have only seen a few photos of some of the Podcast....

They really don't look right.

John and Kevin I mentally refer to as John Kevin. Their voices are similar enough that mentally they look the same.

But I don't have a mental image of them...

Which I guess makes it easier for them to look the same.

The John Kevin name merge is because of my family. I have a cousin whose parents could not agree on his name and which name he should be called. My grandmother refused to take sides so she called my cousin by his first and middle name, Charlie Kevin. Well, I guess his real name is Charles Kevin but that does not sound as good as Charlie Kevin. So we all call him Charlie Kevin.

Poor Guy.

So while there actually might be two people on the Podcast named John and Kevin, I just call them John Kevin.

If Teresa Kathy are really two people, they are twins.

Its my granny's fault.

Everyone else has distinct voices. I have seen photos of Pete and Walter but they don't look like they sound. Neither do John Kevin. I don't think I have seen photos of the rest of the Podcast. Which is fine since they can remain men and women of Mystery.

And there was Bob. There was only one Bob. I miss Bawb. Never met the guy. <Adult Word> but I miss Bawb. Cannot believe it has been two years. Seems like yesterday. Hey Bawb, I know you are in the studio and watching the boards.

Pete definatley has a Jersey voice... being a Jersey girl myself I can recognize it. ESPECIALLY when he rants... it just comes through... I keep wondering which county he's from. It's definatly north Jersey - south Jersey sounds too Philly...

I guess I've known them too long. I think they totally fit their voices & have no problem telling them apart on the pod casts. Course I have an advantage over all of you, I actually knew them pre-podcast. Hope everyone has happy Easter (or Passover).

I had Pete nailed before I saw his photo, Kevin I wasn't even close. Corey and Julie I was at least in the ball park. John I can't remember even what I thought. Bob was another one that looked exactly as I pictured.
