I'm a little afraid of coasters, which do I start with DD or Hulk?

My thinking was after I did the Hulk, I could do anything. My thinking worked and I tried DD after. I personally come off DD:Ice feeling a bit dizzy.. and I'm a teen! I don't get that often. I prefer Fire anyways, smoother ride for me and no dizzy feeling.

If you're "a little afraid of coasters," you're going to take one look at Hulk as you walk through the park, and decide to do something else.

Yeah - well - I appreciate everyone's advice...and the detail!

You were saying DD has gradual ascent...I'm thinking that gives me time to worry....:scared:

If I'm shot out of a cannon - there's no looking back!

But I DO appreciate your advice and everyone's feedback!

Well - I've been there twice and seen it. The last time....while the fam was riding it ....I was filming the board at the entrance where it says.....(and I quote)..... "Please remove all prosthetic limbs"

I didn't get a chance to ride DD, but did ride Hulk for the first time this past weekend. I was a little startled by the shooting out part, but I had watched it quite a few times so I new it was coming. Really the ride was a lot of fun...so much fun that I rode it again. I thought it was really smooth and loved the air time.

def hulk....it goes so fast you don't have time to be afraid

plus on DD you get that drop feeling in the pit of your stomach which I don't feel on the hulk:thumbsup2

I am never scared or anxious waiting in line for hulk but DD is another story:scared1:

The "dangling feet" part on DD is scary for many people. You sometimes feel like your feet are going to hit the other coaster when you are dueling.

Do Hulk and get it over with. The other stuff won't scare you after that. Plus it is really fun and you'll likely go on it again.

I also wanted to add that there is a full length front row video of the hulk ride on youtube. I think I watched it a dozen times before our trip. The whole ride isn't much more than a minute or so long. I think it helped.

Hello To All!

Love ALL your Advice!

DS 17 and I were there Tuesday, May 26th.

I DID IT! I rode HULK! :thumbsup2 Closed my eyes for most of the beginning...the minute I opened my eyes......FLASH! SO I HAD to buy the pic....(and then the DVD).....

I didn't do it necessarily for FUN - I did it to impress DS17 and it worked....He was grinning ear to ear when it was done....:yay:

Although I had to ask him to help me pry my fingers from the seat...my grip was so hard. :crazy2:

Thank you all for your help....I will definitely do Hulk again next time....NOW

Onward and upward to DD/ICE! :scared:
