What's your weather like there in the UP? DH was from Marquette. Still has blood relations there.

Hey, I got the crying phone call from dd at NMU. She moved in with 3 of her best friends this year, guess what it doesn't work. Plus they all play rugby jplayers and she hasn't been going to practice, cause she has a lot of homework. I told her to go to housing and see if any on housing apartments are available. (She just can't find her niche or routine this year). She's like you, she loves it up there, but she has to find her routine, she can't find her balance.

The weather is starting to get cold! It's been pretty cloudy out lately and the forecast tells of it staying cloudy out the rest of the week. We had some rain this past weekend and are supposed to get some more in the next few days.

I haven't been posting long either, but I know that I'm already a junkie. (I think I realized that when I come back and there doesn't look like much has been posted since my last visit.....perhaps meaning I'm coming too frequently?)

Sorry to hear about you dd. She should go to housing and ask them. My suitemate got an on-campus apartment a few weeks ago and she said that there were still a few left. Have her go and see if she can talk to Carl Holm (the head housing honcho). He's a really nice guy and helped me out when I was having some rooming issues my freshman year, plus he and I have the same birthday (which makes him extra cool).
