I'm not trying to bash anyone, but I find this whole "Twilight Moms" thing so strange. I read the books and they were OK. The whole Edward/Jacob obsession by adult women thing is just weird to me. I didn't even like teenage boys when I was a teenager and Edward is so "emo" and whiny.

I read the books, too and thought they were okay. I don't get the major hype, either. I had a college aged coworker tell me it was because I'm old. Thanks. I think it's because Edward is a creepy/stalker perv (Watches her when she sleeps?!? No thanks!). Jacob seemed like a better choice in the long run, but I am applying logic to it!

Me too!! We were at the premiere of Sharkboy here in Austin. The movie sucked but Taylor was so sweet. Such a little gentleman, even then. If I could figure out how to post a pic on the dis, I'd put up a picture of Taylor with my son. Cute pic!

I took dd to the movie because SHE likes the Twilight series. and SHE likes Jacob. (she's 11 and this is her first star crush) He just happens to be very "easy to look at".

I have read 3 of the books and altough I thought they were pretty good I haven't even bought the 4th book. I don't find anything particularly creepy about Edward nor Jacob; but do think Bella is a silly, obsessive, and waaaayyyy to dependent on either of the boys.

I think the books were horrible, so I would never pay to see those movies. I do not think Taylor or Robert are even remotely attractive. They look like kids to me. Give me vampire Eric Northman any day and I will swoon with the best of them! He's 33 though, and I'm 36 so I think that is appropriate

Oh yes! Now that is an attractive vampire. I love his character in the books and Alexander Skaarsgard plays him so well in True Blood.
