Iluminations Dessert Party--Worth It?

What is everyone's opinion of this event? Is the $99 price tag worth it for 2 people? We have done about every restaurant in Epcot, but never did this, so wanted to try something new. Not really a drinker, so was not sure if it was worth it (conversely my wife drinks like a sailor though--so I will break even at the end, lol).

I would just go ahead and book it. The only real way to know if it is "worth it" is to try it for yourself. Everybody will have different opinions on it anyway. We've tried different things that people have recommended and have loved some of them and have been disappointed in others.

It's always nice to try new things too, so i'd say go for it.

I wasn't sure if it was worth it either but I went and booked a reservation for two in September. Looking forward to it after a nice dinner in France.

The part that gets me is the no seating! I would think for $50, I'd at least have a place to sit and enjoy. Personally, I'd rather go pick out my own treats and find somewhere to relax. And come out way ahead financially!

Personally I enjoyed it more than the Wishes Dessert Party.

It was a wide open party with lots of tables, food, sparkling wine, fried donuts, Mickey bars and fried donuts. Worth it money wise, no. Cheapskates hate it. Worth it value wise, heck yes. It is a Disney event. You pay a premium for Disney events. They are events. Disney events. Enjoy the fried donuts. We took some to the room in a large freezer bag.
