Thanks Michelle! Considering I am not a huge fan of planning, it is nice to hear other people think I am doing a good job. I always question if what I am doing is on the right track or what I am supposed to be doing for planning a wedding, but having all you girls helping out and sharing your PJ and TR helps me out greatly!

Thanks Kirsteen! I got the idea for them from another DisBride and I could not be more happy! LOL I searched high and low for them and finally found them..

17 days!!! I can not believe I am in to teen numbers!! That is insane.. And of course my nerves have got the best of me and my sensitive skin broke out into a rash... But I am on some medication that should clear it up. I am just thankful that my skin decided to do this before the wedding and not the day off! LOL

My DF and I made the decision to have his mother and her town commitee she is on do the decorations for the church and the reception hall. It makes it really had for me to try and work on that while I am 3 hours away. I just tole them to stay within the colors I picked out and nothing too over the top because I am a pretty simple person!

I have finally sent out all of my thank yous for the Bridal shower and now have to work on thank yous for after the wedding! LOL I do not know how I am going to do it. I had to fill out 64 for the bridal shower and we already have 150 people signed up for the wedding! Insane!
I am wondering how everyone else here on the boards handled their thank yous for so many people? Did you have a system set up with your husband? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

17 days wow!!! you sound so calm!!! i think it's good that you're starting your thank you notes so soon...with so many to write out, it's obviously going to take awhile!!! why don't you try to do at least 10/day, that way, you'll probably do more than that and you'll finish before the wedding even gets here!!! that's my 5% rule by the way...i use it for everything, especially cleaning, and i always do more than 5% so i always get my stuff done fast!!!

Thanks Caryn.. I am trying to stay calm so I do not break out or anything! LOL I am really excited though about the wedding. I can not wait. Even though everyone else is seeming to get a little fussy right now, I am just trying to stay out of it. But no matter how hard I try I seem to keep staying in the mix. LOL
Thanks for the advice on the Thank you's. I pretty much spent one whole Sunday writing them out and let me tell you I was sooooo ready to be done at that point, but then I had to go back and address every single one of them and seal them and put a stamp on them. I like the idea of 10/day. I will remember that for the wedding!

I have a big question for everyone here..

I was wondering if anyone had a good website with a checklist for the bride and for the wedding day. I am trying to make sure I am not forgetting anything and would sure love to see a checklist of some common big things to make sure I am not forgetting anything! LOL Any help would be greatly apprectied! Thank you!

Can I just tell you all how excited I am... I am offically ONE WEEK out from my wedding day!!!

We have all the big to do's all done.. We finalized our Menu and the head count, gave our music to the Pianist and lined up singers for the verious songs during the wedding, got the center pieces taken care of, finalized the wedding program and have given our "hopes, Dreams and Expectations of the marriage" to the priest for his Homily.. WOOO HOOO!!!

The parents and wedding party will process down the aisle to "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring" and I will be walked down the aisle by my mother to " Canon in D". Our Recessional song that the whole church will sing as we walk back down the aisle as a MARRIED couple will be "In the Day of the Lord"

The ceter pieces are going to be three different level candle holders that will each hold a floating candle in our colors of Black Pink and Silver. Some of the tables will have a different candle type holder that my FMIL has picked out.

I have also finalized all the flowers and have all the appointments made for next week to do Hair trial for me, nails for everyone, hair for everyone the day of the wedding as well as makeup and a little light lunch to be served while we are all getting our hair and make up done! I am so excited!

Thanks... I still have some small things to take care of like finding 10 more things for center pieces and decorating but I am not all that worried about it... What ever will be will be and I am sure no one is going to be worried if we have a lot of decorations or not.. hehehe 4 more days!
