We will be staying at the Dolphin this trip and we will have a room with a view of Illuminations. I'm looking for opinions on the view. Was it clear? Would you skip watching Illuminations from a location at Epcot because you could see it from the balcony? Any thoughts would be great!

Thanks

We could only see the fireworks portion of the show--not the portion that takes place on the lake. We watched the fireworks every night from the room and then on our last night we headed over to Epcot to catch the whole show.

The nice thing is that if you position yourself near the International Gateway, you can avoid most of the crowds and enjoy a pleasant walk back to the Dolphin and through the Boardwalk.

I have to agree with NMAmy, you may be able to see some of it, but you should plan on one night where you are at Epcot to view the whole show.

We do a PS at Rose and Crown, get a nice meal and a nice seat.

Have fun!

Thanks for the info and congrats on the single digit dance:bounce:
