Another early bird here.....Arriving 12/18 and leaving 12/23. Two adults...looking to share Illuminations cruise. :flower:

Hello, we are a small family looking for either wishes or illuminations cruise to share. I know it is too early but we are only a 3 some (dd is going to be 5) and I know my chances of booking one are slim. So keep us in mind when the time comes, thanks!

Looking to join an Illuminations Cruise between 9/21 & 9/25

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi! We'll be staying at the Beach Club on those dates, and we're hoping to be able to lower your cost of the cruise on any of those nights by coming aboard. (Wed. 9/21 to Sun 9/25). There's only three of us; DD, DW & our DD11.

Would it help if I mention that we're not too proud to beg? :rolleyes1

Please PM us if you're interested...thanks!

Anyone know how sucessfull concierge staff is booking this? I would much prefer to get the sleep if I know they can secure the AR for me.

DD is 5 and can not stay awake until illuminations during our march visit

isn't usually around 10:00?

are there any other cruises assocated with the other parks fireworks ?

thank you

IllumiNations starts at 9PM. If Wishes is on at the MK, there will be a cruise for that, but the time depends on park hours.

Did anyone get 9/29th? I was on hold for 15 minutes and it was sold out!

I got the Wishes Cruise 9/21/05 from Grand Floridian. Departs at 7:30pm.

My wife, myself and our 4 and 2 1/2 year old sons are doing dinner at Narcoosees in GF, then the cruise. Anyone who wants to join, PM ME.

I'd like to do this cruise on our last night there, however I'm thinking I should start calling on my 90 day earlier in the week. That way if I can't get one for that last night I'll still have an earlier one. Did that make sense?

Anyway can I do that? If I get one for the last night can I just cancel the first one?

TIA,
Kimba

I swear that I have read through the long Illuminations cruise thread and really never found my answer. Hoping that someone could help. :flower:

I tried getting an Illuminations cruise and they were booked each time I called. I ended up with a Wishes cruise instead.

Has anyone done both? Is there a reason that EVERYONE seems to want the Illuminations Cruise? Is one better than the other? Is the wishes worth the expense? If Illuminations is much, much better, is it possible to eventually get one if we call everyday?

Thanks in advance for your help! :cheer2:

Poly concierge booked mine for me last Sept. I think I only requested it after I had already checked in - not 90 days out.

This may help some people...

I called this morning around 9:30 and was still able to get an Illuminations cruise. When I originally asked her, she said they were sold out - but it seems they only check the pontoon boats. I asked it there was another boat that goes out and she found the breathless boat. Maybe trying asking for breathless boat if no pontoon boats are available.

I call 1-407-WDW-PLAY, 3,2,home phone,1,1

Does anyone know the current cost of the Illuminations cruise? I called today to find out other information (our trip isn't until November) and the CM said the cheapest one was $234, but I thought that was high? I had trouble understanding her, so I didn't ask her to clarify it again. I didn't specify which boat I'd like, but the $234 is higher than the prices I found in this thread.

Thanks!

Steph

That is what my cruise is also. It includes boat, driver, snacks, water, music and whatnot. I asked if that could be taken off because we will have eaten dinner at Boma a couple of hours prior and won't be hungry.

They said the couldn't take it off but go to the marina and just tell them you don't wan it and want the basic and they would probably accomodate. Said the card isn't charged, just as a guarantee hold.

I was quoted $144 and change for an Illuminations cruise (pontoon, no food).

And the breathless boat is $179

Thank you Tara and Denman007! DH would love the Breathless, but since Illuminations is his absolute favorite fireworks show, he'd be thrilled with anything. I just hope I can get one!

Tried booking past the 90 day mark and knew I'd have a hard time getting one, they were all booked. If anyone would like to share the cost of an Illuminations cruise any day from 9/22 thru 9/25, there are 4 of us, 2 adults and 2 14 yr olds. One of the 14yr olds is a newbie to Disney and we want to teach him the ways of Disney!! hahahaha

Please PM or email me at:

mcarrasco@chugachtw.com

thanks in advance!!!

Michelle
