Illuminations Cruise....

I AM CONSIDERING BOOKING THIS CRUISE ON OF OUR NIGHTS IN JANUARY. WE LOVE ILLUMINATIONS. I HAVE THREE QUESTIONS:

1. HOW LONG DO THEY BRING YOU OUT FOR?

2. I READ A REVIEW OF THE CRUISE ON ALLEARS AND THE PERSON SAID THAT THEY GOT A LOT OF SMOKE IN THEIR DIRECTION FROM THE FIREWORKS. IS THIS TRUE? I WOULD IMAGINE THAT THIS WOULD DEPEND MONSTLY ON THE WIND....

3.WE WOULD HAVE DS6 AND DS1 WITH US.... IS IT TOO MUCH FOR THE YOUNG ONES TO HANDLE?

You are out for about an hour. We got some smoke and some debris. It wasn;t too bad, though. IMHO, 6 & 1 are perfect ages for an Illuminations cruise (as long as they don't mind having on a life preserver) because you don't have to worry about corralling them while you steak out your spot. Instead, you get to have a relaxing boat ride, chips, water, and soft drinks and get an unostructed view of Illuminations. Not to mention, you don't have to fight the crowd afterward. Don't worry about making it back to your resort, just ask the driver to drop you off at MGM instead of the boat dock. Then walk right to the bus stop at MGM!

When we took this cruise last December, we had no smoke or debris at all. I imagine it depends on which direction the wind is blowing that evening.

You have to call 90 days before your trip and hope you get one of the cruises. They are tough to get.

If you do get one you will enjoy we have taken this cruise no smoke really depends on the weather. They take you on a ride up to MGM then back to under the bridge between France & England so nice.

You arrive for your cruise at 8:30 and back again around 9:30 pm. No crowds and a great view.
