We want to do an Illuminations cruise one night and figured it would make sense to eat dinner wherever we get the boat. I believe you don't know whether you will leave from Boardwalk or the Yacht club until you book, which I haven't done yet.

It will be me, DH, DS 11 and DD 10. Can you give me some suggestions on where to eat a late dinner before Illuminations at both places that you get the boat?

When we did the Illuminations Cruise, we ate at the Cape May Clam Bake at the Beach Club prior to the cruise. We ate dinner and then walked around the Boardwalk until it was time for our Cruise.

Thanks for the advice...I'm going to go look at the menu selection now.

You will be in Disney when we are and you are from PA like we are. How werid..lol.

We are hoping to do a cruise in January. I think we are going to try the ESPN club, since the cruise is expensive and I don't think we can swing an expensive dinner also.

Cape May is so yummy, though . . .

I too was going to suggest Cape May or Beaches and Cream at the Beach Club.

There is also the Yachtsman at the Yacht Club.

At Boardwalk there is ESPN, Spoodles, Flying Fish & Big River Grille & Brewworks...

You could also easily eat in the World Showcase (ie) Le Cellier, etc... and then just walk over for you cruise.

Have fun

You can eat anywhere in the Epcot resort areas for either cruise. The pick up points at the Boardwalk and the Yacht club marina are not that far away from each other just across the lake as matter of maybe a 5 minute or so walk. So you can go just about anywhere.

We ate at the ESPN club at the Boardwalk. If your DH and DS happen to be sports fans (or you or your DD either, for that matter !!) , this would be an especially good choice.

It's a very short walk to the boat dock from there if you are boarding at the Boardwalk.

We ate at Le Cellier and than headed for Beach Club. The closer to the gateway you eat, the better but I don't think you need to limit yourself to resort restuarants (if you already paid admission for the day)

JMHO,
Sandy
