Illuminations cruise 180 days or 90 days?

Just called earlier today trying to book a specialty cruise for Illuminations for our trip next May. CM confirmed that the tour is available for the day we want. However, she was unable to complete the reservation. I was put on hold for a couple minutes and she came back to inform me that Recreation has not loaded the availability into the system and hence why she was not able to complete the booking. She apologized and asked me to call back in a week or so of time. I asked her if the cruise should've been bookable at 180days out and she said yes, but she also said that unlike dinning (which is always available at 180 days), Recreation things sometimes don't get loaded at exactly 180 days out. Has anyone else experience this? Seems a bit odd and we certainly don't want to call too late and not be able to book the cruise...
