I have no willpower!
That's right, I admit it. I was supposed to wait until Friday to get my new Canon Rebel Xti camera but I just couldn't wait. I was on Butterfly Photo this afternoon reading all the specs for the 50 millionth time and my finger accidentally on purpose hit the buy button. Now I have over 4 months to practice before the trip! Will post pics as soon as my camera arrives which will hopefully be by Friday, woohoo!!!

Finally got my Rebel yesterday, woohoo! Now let's see if I can post pics.

Be patient with me people, these are the newbie pics taken last night while my son was trying to do his homework and today at work out in the courtyard area. I have a lot to learn but I'm excited to finally have my new toy. More to come....

Thanks ladies! I've been driving the kids nuts with the camera. Last night I even went to the roof of our parking structure to try to catch the sunset but I was too late.

V, I started reading the manual and it's a little overwhelming but I'm ready to learn! I might even take a phography course. I'm waiting for the school to send me their catalog, so we'll see if I can afford it before going on the trip.

Thank you! I call my youngest Mini Me. My youngest is Daniel, middle is David and eldest is Damian. BTW, we went to a religious memorial last night and those pics were taken at dinner.

You're too funny! The Memorial we went to ended late. We left to go meet up with some friends at Macaroni Grill in Cerritos but it was too late to get served. After that we tried Mimis - nope, too late. The pics were taken at TGI Fridays. Worst service and food ever! The great company more than made up for it, so we had a blast anyway.

Thanks for the compliment! I don't often feel very hot what with 3 teenage sons! I was brunette before so that might account for my looking a bit different plus I had my hair flat ironed. I usually wear my hair in it's natural state which is pretty curly.

Ah, my sister is doing wonderfully. She's having minimal morning sickness. In fact I don't think she's tossed her cookies yet. She's such a cutie!
