Will I be bored on sea days? Of course not, just sign up for the activities when you book your reservations

Angie, RCCL Voyager will be in NOLA November 2011-April 2012. A great ship, this is her last winter in Galveston, we've sailed on her twice.

I was pretty nice about it. It's just all too stupid. He says this, she says that....and there are newbies who are going to be mighty disappointed if they take the word of people who don't know what they're talking about.

He had to come all the way to Arizona to get together with DIS friends.


He'd said they'd run into you guys a few times, though. I had to remind him what it's like to shuttle two kids from one activity to another, besides working your own job, and how little time that leaves at the end of the day. He'll find out when they have kids.

Tell him "Hi!" if you see/talk to him again - Yeah, we have to go out of town to see them, too even though we live about 2 miles away.

Since there were a lot of complaints on the main board about the menu and price, it would seem as if it would be easy to get reservations at Remy - guess not...

I posted a "Guess what I am doing" a while back.....but I guess I was a wee bit too obtuse....

And of course you can have a personalized trip report....

I do want to try Remy but it will not be on this cruise. When we all booked the MV we knew that Disney was not releasing suites (they were held for VIPS). It is a simple jump from not releasing suites to holding the dinner reservations as well. If I want Remy, guess I had better book the next wedding cruise.....

I think it will be easier to book Remy once the cruise becomes a standard 4 or 3 night - esp. with land and sea. One of our Christmas Eve cruises we could have been at Palo every night as the first time family cruisers wanted time in the dining room rotations.

So I'd better get all the blabbermouth's list of questions to take with me....what cabins do you want me to go investigate, what staircases, what dining rooms, what else..... etc. (Not that I will promise the do so BUT, it might be fun to try)

I'm game if you all are.

Pictures of anything and everything would be great. I especially want to see pictures of Sam riding the AquaDuck. If he gets that FastPass, anyway!

I can't wait to check it out, on the DIS and in person next year.....but no desire to be on the MV. I'm glad someone I know is, though!!

It IS too bad that it was so impossible for people to get Remy and Palo.
I'm not going to try either one on the wedding cruise....I want to see the new dining rooms more than I do the specialty.

I am one of those who isn't crazy about the Remy menu, so I doubt we'll be trying it, even on the Fantasy. YES.....we booked it. It's so far away, I'm not sure if we really will go or not, but it's fun to think about it for now, anyway.

Irene, I'm excited that you'll be able to report back to all of us. I can't wait to hear about the experience.

Not sure that we'd book Remy's ... probably just too much $ for our blood. I'll have to look at the menu though. I'm sure we'll try for Palo again though. We really enjoy that.

Girls are looking forward to the Aqua Duck. I'm with Stacey, we'll want a report on that. I'm sure it will be just like Crushin' Gusher. We love that ride.

I'll make sure I have extra batteries. Note to self...I still have to send Mark the wedding pictures...(sigh)....

Sam on the aqua duck - you betcha....I am envisioning long, long, long lines.

Plus - there is an entirely new crew to meet.

Wow, 90 days away! It'll be here before you know it. I'm curious if you'll really notice all of the extra people or will they just be dispersed to different areas of the ship so you don't even notice.

Ugh...what a bummer of a day.
Our favorite greeter at our local Fry's....George (age approx 90) passed away over the weekend. Jared and I just talked to him last Friday.

Had to turn away a really nice looking fellow looking for work. I hate having to do that.

Made appointments with the eye doc, the ortho doc for an injection in my shoulder, and the dermatologist. I feel that my snorkeling days are numbered.
Getting my flu shot tomorrow.

Yuck, yuck, yuck.

No diving this weekend GaRRy - seas predicted 6-8 - yuck.

No parks for us, sorry - cousins from England in town, Halloween parties planned and of course the little ghosts and goblins on the 31st. (as opposed to the big ones here....)

We're here and safe! Got a little crazy weather wise but not as bad as they were predicting by us.

Just being busy and celebrating with my dear DH Mark as today is our 20th wedding anniversary. Hard to believe it's been 20 years! I know that is nothing compared to some of the couples on this thread but it is a big milestone for us.
