Hello All,

We are heading back to DL in July & were wanting to have breakfast at IHOP as we have a gift card & coupon . When me & DD18 were there in May we went to the one located at 1840 S. Harbor Blvd. And (Next door to the RedLion hotel) food was good unfortunately we noticed that there was not a lot of seating for a party of 5. We have 5 in our family so, we were wondering if anyone has gone to these other locations & know if they have better seating options for a party of 5? Please let me know if anyone has eaten at these locations:
18542 MacArthur Blvd.
1560 S. Harbor Blvd

1560 S. Harbor (the one near the gates) has some longer tables to sit at. We were there in November and the 5 of us sat at one of those tables. And while my kids are all under 10 (for a few more weeks), we still fit comfortably. And IHOP is a must for 2 of the 3 if they spot it. Pancakes and French Toast is like lobster to them.

The one you ate at actually has an upstairs area where they seat people at peak times. I haven't been up there, but maybe they have more table options upstairs? Just a thought. We always stay at Red Lion when we're not staying onsite and we thought it was a very efficiently-run IHOP when we've been there.

. I didn't know they had an upstairs... That's good to know. We ate here when staying at the RedLion too... I will call and ask about this seating area. Thanks for sharing.

would it be a large enough table for 5 adults? My kids are all either high school or college so, not so little anymore.

If there isn't a table for 5 adults available, would 2 smaller adjoining tables work?
Yes, of course. The IHOP I went to only had a few tables. There were mostly booths. Also, I wouldn't want to wait an hour or more to sit down so, that's why I was looking to see if others knew if the other IHOP's had more availibilty for seating for a party of 5.

One of the reviews on Yelp for the IHOP in question was for a party of 10, so seating 5 shouldn't be a problem. The review didn't mention any problems with being seated together. And the other IHOP on Harbor has a Yelp description that says it is good for large groups.

While I can't say with certainty, it should fit 5 adults. Snuggly, but you should fit.

With 4 kids and staying in a nearby hotel we eat there a lot!! We go as a family of 7 (3 adults, 4 kids) and have never had a problem with seating. We have sat in a big corner booth or at a long table.

Have a magical time!
