iHome radios at SSR - delivered yesterday

We're at SSR now and yesterday housekeeping came around and delivered iHome radio/iPod docks to the rooms here in the Springs sections. I know a lot of people have been asking about these lately, so I thought I'd pass the news along.

We were pleasantly surprised that they had them at VWL. It was so nice to be able to plug our MP3 (non-iPod) in and have our music!

Muushka - DiznyDi & I just got back from VWL, stayed in Rm 2545 (2 Br Ded) and did not have an iHome that I stumbled upon!

Where would it have been?

Well, I finally popped my 3g out of its case (no easy task) - I use the Agent 18 hard shell case and unlike my Sony dock at home, my phone wouldn't fit in the iHome dock while still in the case. So that's strike 1 against the iHome in my book.

It does charge, but I also get the "this accessory is not designed to work with this iPhone" message. It says to turn on airplane mode to reduce audio interference. I didn't test out how well the audio actually works without turning on airplane mode since my husband is still asleep.

So charging, yes. Actually playing music, I don't know.

Hmmmmm. In the bedroom they had a clock radio that would take MP3 players.
Did I assume wrongly that this is not what the OP is talking about?

Oops, sorry if I am not understanding what the device is. But the one at VWL was very nice and we used it!
