Here's a question I posted on the teen board with no luck, so maybe you older and wiser folks can help me out.

I'm ancient so don't have any social media accounts of my own, but read other's posts. I've come across this symbol/icon a few times lately and haven't been able to find its meaning.

I don't think those are menu icons. There would only be one of them.

I think this is what happens when someone uses an emoji that your phone/tablet/computer does not support. You might need to update your OS.

We can verify this theory if you can link us to a post where you saw this symbol.
