If you were to replace Dinoland, what would you put in its place?

as a kindergarten teacher on summer break, I’ve had way too much time to think about this question haha.

I was thinking it would be cool to put Australia over there. The Australian outback is known for it’s wild nature, and would be distinct in style from Africa, Asia, and pandora.

In addition to that, you could include the rescuers down under in a meet and greet!

What are your thoughts?

Indiana Jones area. Re theme dinasoar and make it like California. Make a desert area and pyramids like Raiders, a volcano area for Temple, and you can incorporate Crusade into the land in a ton if ways with an attraction or dark ride of Indy navigating to get to the holy Grail like in the movie.

I think this franchise needa to be incorporated if Disney is starting to go mainly IP in parks. I think it would be a nice change of pace from the cartoon and super hero IP that is taking over .it's vastly different. And it's all set in the past so you don't have to guess for the future in the buildings aesthetic, you have the design that can last for years.

I think they can keep Dinosaur, so whatever replaces Dino-rama would still tie into that place. I like the idea of some type of mythical land of beasts or other exploration of legends. Yes, this sounds a lot like Beastly Kingdom. While Indiana Jones would be amazing, I'd rather Disney find a way to think a little more outside the box here. The biggest move is losing the carnival atmosphere and creating a world that fits better within the park like Pandora does.

Dinoland should stay... Dinosaurs are animals after all... I think the Dinorama could become archeology themed or get a more kid friendly ride/ attraction. Maybe like one of those traveling animatronic Dinosaur exhibits...

If they bulldoze dinorama i want them to keep triceratop spin, my son loves it and there aren't a ton of kid rides in AK. That one small section around it could retain the theme and they could eliminate the carnival games and that HORRIBLE primeval whirl. If I was a Chiropractor I would buy advertising on that ride. I cant see them re-doing or eliminating the Dinosaur Ride either... How would that work? A Dinoland w/o Dinosaurs would be pointless. I think they should replace primeval whirl with another e-ticket coaster or attraction to balance out the crowds in the park.

Another option might be to Bulldoze the Back end of Dinorama and create a new land between Asia and Dino Land Maybe South American or Australian Themed? Im not sure how much usable land they have in that direction but it seems like there is a ton of filler in Dinoland that they could flesh out too.

My daughter and goddaughter love spending my money on those silly carnival games but I have never understood why it was there except as a prop for the 2 rides. I like McFly913's idea. Retheme the area as Indiana Jones, you could retheme the 2 rides and leave them there. Take the Indiana Jones show out of Hollywood and put it in the new land. That way when Star Wars expands (and it will) there will be space available. While your at it retheme the Dinosaur ride and maybe add one more ride into the mix.

I think the Dinoland area is pretty cool. I'd like to see that stay. The rest of the park has quite a few adult rides ( EE, Dinosaur, Kali River ) it's nice to have an area with rides for the really little ones. I always like this part of the park because it seems a bit out of the way and little bit quieter.
