If you were taking newbies, and they could only see one nighttime show...

Illuminations was not all that exciting to me.
Fantasmic is good
but I loved Wishes. The music and fireworks really got to me both times we saw it.

You don't mention what type of passes they will have, but all of the ideas you mention include going to AND STAYING IN one park all day and evening.

If I assume from that they will have one-day NON park hoppers, then I'd say EPCOT, since there is so much to experience, especially for 20-somethings with no kids who are "intellectuals".

My personal fave is Fantasmic, but for a one full-day experience in this case, I'd say stick with Epcot.

If they are quick and adventurous (with park hoppers), I'd try the suggestion of seeing both in one evening! They like thrill rides, and that would be the "thrill" of the chase! LOL!!!

Wow, I am overwhelmed with choices. They have three day hoppers, so can jump back and forth. They are young and adventerous, so to speak, but the two nights prior they are attending events that will have them out late. I'm not sure how their stamina will be.

Here's my current plan. We arrive Wed with no park admission. Wed evening Sam and I will hang out on the Boardwalk and watch Illuminations from outside Epcot.

Thursday Cady and I head to AK until noonish, then meet Paul at MGM for lunch at Prime Time, and stay till 4. They have dinner plans at House of Blues and tickets to Cirque. Sam and I will either return to MGM or head to MK, depending how he naps.

Friday we will go to MK, Paul will join us for lunch. We may go to Ohana's for lunch or just stay at MK and eat at Pecos Bills. They have a big awards banquet that evening, so will leave around 3 to get ready. Their party goes till 1:00 a.m. I'm not sure what Sam and I will do. We'll play it by ear depending on how he's doing.

Saturday Cady and Paul are both free from 10:00 through the rest of the night. We'll just wait until they are ready to go, letting Cady sleep in. Sam and I will run over to the Beach Club and discuss my daughter's honeymoon and how I can have stuff in their room upon their arrival while we wait for them. I think we'll concentrate on Epcot. Perhaps a late lunch at Le Cellier. If they are not tired, we'll head to MGM just before Fantasmic, then return to Epcot for Illuminations. If they think that's more than they can take, we'll just stay at Epcot and finish the night there, ending with dessert or dinner at Beaches and Cream. I'm leaving dinner open. We may not want to eat dinner early, if we have a late lunch at Epcot.

They leave Sunday afternoon, and I leave Monday at 1:30. I will be on my own both Sunday and Monday. I am going to try to get ressies for the Segway tour at Epcot if I save my pennies. I will not be able to call ahead of time, so I'll see what I can do Friday or Saturday about getting that ressie. Otherwise, my times my own, and I'll play it by ear.

Whatdya think?
