If you were chief imagineer of Walt Disney World, what would you do? What would you change? What new attractions would you create? What new hotel themes would you have? What's in store for Hollywood studios? Would you keep avatar land? Would you make a new theme park all together, and if so what would it be called and themed? The list could go on and on! I think this could be a really cool thread to read and get some of your ideas out there... And just maybe Disney will read and take advice from some of it's biggest fans! Be creative and let's hear what everyone has to say on the subject...

I would love to see a total revamp of The Studios. They need a better theming concept. I think it needs to be broken down into different types of lands that deal with Disney's Movies. I would have Pixar land, Star Wars land, Classic Hollywood land, I would bring back a toon town land, etc...

Wow. So much!! This is a very easy task considering i don't have to worry about money, red tape, bosses, etc etc.

Epcot:
New Country In World Showcase
Another attraction/ride in World showcase
Do something with the body wards pavilion. I would put a Star Wars themed land in that area. It's futuristic and would fit in nicely there.
Get rid of capt. EO and put a new 4D screen based high tech attraction there.

Hollywood Studios:
Get rid of stunt show and backlot tour and add a cars themed land. I don't care if they just copy the disneyland version or tweak it.

Animal Kingdom:
NO TO AVATARLAND
Perhaps a nordic land? Frozen themed attractions?

Magic Kingdom:
Add a Villians land/attractions. Including a villians character meal. Maybe get ride of the speedway and use that area?

Haha yes now that would be awesome! Every movie has a villain, so you could do so much with that! I could easily see a section of The Studios being dedicated to villains! "Villain Valley" or something like that lol.

Omg I would get Disney legal to get a group of the most badass, most experienced, sneaky lawyers in the country and have them find a loophole in the Marvel/Universal deal so that Disney could have a huge amazing superhero land on DHS.
I'd also put the Star Wars land where all that motor show is and scrap that jack sparrow thing and use up all that space. I'd make sure to include and amaaaazing Star Wars cantina. Which would be a QS since DHS is lacking so much on outstanding QS.

The 80's draft where there was a Costa Rica pavilion with a beach next to the lake was amazing, I want it! And it could have a rainforest ride! Although that would also be nice for a Brazil pavilion.
I also think the WS would benefit from a south Asia pavilion like India! Or maybe even Thailand. Imagine a Thai/Indian food restaurant at the WS!

Bring back an updated horizons. That is a no brainer. Also, dump avatarland and focus on developing more in house creations such as haunted mansion, POTC, tiki room, etc. to much focus has been placed on building attractions after movies instead of building original attractions that may someday become movies. There are a ton of creative minds that could develop incredible ideas.

Oh, and for disneyland, I would dump the whole california crap and build westcot. The California crap is extremely anti walt disney.

I'd put up a giant sorcerer's hat in the hub of MK, in front of the tree of life, and one more in front of spaceship earth. Sorcerer's hats are magical and every Disney park should have one!

Magic Kingdom:
-Create Frozen themed area and Elsa's snow castle

Epcot:
-Reimagine the imagination pavilion (see what I did there!) New Journey into Imagination that brings back Dream Finder and has same template as original popular ride with new technology. Utilize the 2nd floor again! Create new 3D movie to replace Captain EO.
-Rebuild Horizons and make it more up to date and modern than the original. Name it like "Future Horizons" to designate it from the first
-Add a new country or 2 in World Showcase. Maybe Spain would be cool!

Hollywood Studios:
-I liked another poster's idea of creating themed lands such as Pixar, Star Wars, Etc.
-Create more Indiana Jones like rides/experiences..especially if they are making another movie.
-Get rid of the hat. If the Chinese theater can't be the ceterpiece for the park then find something more tied to Hollywood that can be.
-Update scenes in The Great Movie ride. This maybe an unpopular opinion but I'd say scrap Alien, Tarzan, and maybe one other and replace with more recent classics. Maybe here is where you can have Avatar instead of an Avatar land (see below).

Animal Kingdom:
-Scrap Avatar land. I liked Avatar the movie but it just doesn't have the appeal to last generations. Disney knows they screwed up by not securing the rights to Harry Potter but Avatar is not a good substitute.

Misc.:
-Find a new purpose for Discovery Island. I know this is a long shot but I can't believe DI and River Country are just sitting vacant. I don't really know what to replace with but they are just sitting and rotting.

I thought about this as soon as Disney bought out Marvel. Does Universal pay out royalties to Disney now for using Marvel for IofA? Is there a date the contract "expires" and Disney can choose not to renew it causing Universal to scrap all references to Marvel? That would so brutal to Universal if it happens but I wouldn't mind seeing Disney take a crack at a Marvel comics theme area!

Our family would love a whole new park dedicated to serious coasters but Disney themed. Big coasters like Sheikra from Busch Gardens or Leviathan from Canada's Wonderland - think they're missing a trick there!

My vote would to bring back toon town fair. I loved Minnie and mickeys house. I miss it.

Star Wars Section, a big one including Mos Eisley Cantina.
Bring more family friendly attractions that can stand up to TSM.
Build a Indiana Jones ride ala the one at Disneyland. You can make it different and unique so you are going on a different adventure.
Put back Dreamfinder in an interesting way. Do something with the old Wonders of life building and the Odyssey building.
Put a Sunshine Seasons style restaurant in MK
