If you were a gambling man....Diagon Alley open by end of July?!!

We have finally booked our flights for July but am holding off booking HRH because want to make sure Diagon Alley will be open.....only get to Orlando once every 2 years!!! Do you think it is a fair bet that it will be up and running by the end of July?!!

Yes...I would say DA will be open by the end of July.

We may very well be rolling the dice this year.

Transformers was open when we were there 1st week in June, believe it was sporadically available via soft openings a couple of weeks prior...I'm sure somebody here would know exactly when.

I've heard they are behind schedule but I'd still be that they are open by the end of July.

with the power pass black out dates from june 14 thru august, i could see the HP2 opening before the end of july next year.

thanks for your input guys! So we are arriving in Orlando on 22nd July and staying at WDW to start with before moving over to Universal. Fly home on 12th August so have EVERYTHING crossed that it will be open between those dates! Surely they would be mad to miss out on 4th July and the general summer crowds?!!!

Yeah barring something very last minute or catastrophic with construction, I'm pretty sure they'll make July 4th. Rumors have the Hogwarts express being soft opened before other parts of Diagon, and the whole land being opened up on the same day as the original Wizarding World (June 18th).

I think their intention is/was to open DA around the same time they opened Hogsmede which was around 6/21 if I remember correctly.

Been going every year since HP opened. Hedging my bets and booking for August 2014. Feeling pretty confident that all will be open by then.
