If you sailed many DCL cruises do you think you are bored with it?

Been on 17 Disney cruises. Have done all ships and all of the European, Baltic, Alaska and Mexico cruises. Love them. As long as my daughter who is 30 with down syndrome and her best friend want to go we will continue to come.

We are platinum. Never thought we would tire of it. BUT, since cruising on a Viking European River Cruise, I've found myself longing to do that again.

I would LOVE to do a Viking River Cruise....although I would also like to try the Adventures By Disney River Cruise!!!

Hi Gumbypee, though I haven't sailed nearly as many times w/DCL as lots of folks here, I have spent a total of 60 nights on Disney ships over the years for a total of 9 cruises. In no way am I remotely "bored with it". :teeth: All my family feels the same and my kids are now grown young adults. My DH has not sailed but about 4 of these cruises, but he LOVES DCL as much as I do. And most of the time we have sailed with out any kids at all unless they were adult kids. Looking forward to leaving on the 10 night cruise of Hawaii in just a week!!! WOOHOO!!! :dogdance:

For us, we are liking the cruises more and more with each one we take. Out of 5 completed cruises (I know, small numbers compared to some) we have only had one which was not completely and utterly fabulous - and that was only because we didn't enjoy the itinerary, rather than the ship itself or anything to do with DCL.

As die-hard WDW addicts, I can safely say we would choose a Disney cruise over a WDW trip any day.

I don't think there has ever been a vacation I have been on that I didn't get bored at some point.

We have done 6 DCL cruises with our 7th coming up. We are all looking forward to it but after that one we will take a break. Not because my son or I want to but my husband is ready to go back to Hawaii and I would like to take a cruise with some friends and family and Disney is too much for them. Will I stop taking DCL all together, absolutely not.

I do not believe I could ever get "bored" in general of the cruise. I enjoy different activities each time I go.

We have been on 23 Disney cruises over the last 12 years and while I wouldn't say I actually get bored, I would like to see new things added. Maybe just more activities. I think I am just bored with the idea of cruising. We went to Aulani this past summer and I would give up ever cruising again to return there. Saying that, I have cruises number 24 and 25 booked for the next 6 months. However, after we are finished with those, I think it might be a long time before we cruise with Disney again. The pricing has just gone crazy but lets save that for another thread!

Sorry things got a bit off topic. Our family has been on 6 cruises for a total of 45 days. We find that the initial "magic" is still there but different. Sort of like the infatuation one has as a teenager experiencing their first crush then tempering into a different kind of love. We still love our cruises and have two more booked in the next 6 months. We find that we don't go the shows anymore unless it is a variety act. This gives us all a chance to really relax. The reason we cruise Disney is because we find the quality and extraordinary customer service truly special and yes, magical. Thr best thing after multiple cruises is that I no longer experience post disembarkation depression as severely as I used to.....

Going on different unique itineraries have made a difference in keeping things fun for us. We recently completed our quest of sailing on all four ships and found that we liked them all - long trips as well as the short ones. We prefer the long ones but are excited to find that the short ones allow us to have a quick getaway without too much trouble. Each itinerary has a different personality and this allows us to match our vacation needs with the Disney cruise that suits us for that moment.

I have cruised Disney 5 times and Royal one time. One time was enough for me on Royal. But Anyway, I am getting kind of bored of always going to Castaway Cay so I'm hoping to do some other cruises with different destinations. Otherwise, I love the Disney boats.
