If you put it in writing, you have to deliver… right? A Dec. 2011 PTR

Do you know how to print 4 X 5 autograph cards, I can only get my coputer to make then 5 x 7. I made 4 x6 last time and can't remember how I did them

Thanks
Grace
Try looking in your print properties and see if you can adjust the size of the paper.

What program are you using?

By the way...

Dneph is mending okay. He's working very hard at his recovery!

I would do some generic pages for Characterpalooza. The characters aren't announced, and the only ones that are confirmable are Sorceror Mickey, Pooh, and the Incredibles. They are the permanent fixtures in the Art of Animation building.

It's probably a good thing do make some generic ones anyway, in case you run into a character you didn't plan on seeing (like when we ran into the Queen of Hearts in EP - she's a rare character outside of MNSSHP)!

Hi everyone!

I took another short leave of absence as I got VERY BUSY the last two weeks!

A buddy of mine and I decided to put together a benefit for Dneph and we've been running ragged trying to get everything we need before Tuesday. Much after that and we're into Thanksgiving and no one will be available to attend! SO, on extremely short notice, we've managed to pull together a decent number of items to auction off. :teeth: The community has been wonderful!

On a planning note...

I found a 24" tree skirt and a 13"x70" gold table runner!

I also found some Mickey gel clings ($1.99/ea), over-sized pens ($1.59), and Santa Mickey headbands ($2.99/ea) at Walgreens! I also grabbed some white glittery snowflakes (24/$5) that we can use somewhere too. I'm not sure if I'll use them on the mirror or the door. I will be cutting out the black Mickey silhouettes out of vinyl soon - I'm thinking over Turkey Day weekend...

I also found some adorable Disney Princess, Cars, Pooh, and Mickey magnets that I'm going to stuff in MY kids' stockings for Christmas!

We also made a change to our schedule. After reading THIS BLOG about the Christmas party, we opted to cancel our 5pm ressie at the Wave and reschedule it for 1:30p that day. We figured we'd better not waste time at a TS meal during party hours since we have 2 official objectives for the party. 1) Flynn and Rapunzel and 2) Captain Jack. ::yes::

We will go into MK the morning of the party, break for a late lunch at 1:30 (the tail-end of lunch service), THEN tour some monorail resorts. By the time that is all done, it should be close to 4/4:30p to which we'll return to MK, ride a few attractions that will be closed during the party, and be ready to line up for the Town Square Princesses at 6:40p.

I am greatly concerned that people aren't kicked out of that line that haven't paid for a party ticket AND I've recently heard that that line can get ridiculously long... not because of it being clogged up per se, more that the characters have been spending an extrordinary amount of time with each guest. Once we're done with the girls (and their guys), we'll go line up for Captain Jack! :teeth:

Jenn - do they wristband us for the party, I guess? I've wondered how they will remove people from the park for the party who aren't supposed to be there... but that would stink to be standing in a line of people who shouldn't really be in the line... :confused3 And so my 'anal' side comes out... :lmao:

I'm not Jenn but... They do wrist band but the problem with that line is it is right at the exit, so normal guest get in line, saw 6:30, by the time then get to the characters it is 7pm and now they get the princesses with their men which is perk that should be only available to party guests. Plus people leaving the parks are more apt to enter here due to it being RIGHT at the exit. You should definitely read the article it is one of the best I have read in the party

Thank you!! I will find the article and read it! This is a new venture for us and while I have no high expectations, I want to know as much as I can ahead of time! :goodvibes

I think he would be my mission too!

I sure hope you are going to do a TR so I can all these great decorations!

There are a couple places to get wristbands. If you enter the park JUST for the party, you go through a designated turnstile. If you are already in the park, I think you get your bracelet over by Stitch's Great Mistake... er Escape... It's all in that article. It really was a great blog about the party, one of the best write-ups I've seen too!

My favorite tip in that blog (if it's the blog I am thinking of on Easy WDW), was the double fast-passes!! Excited to try that.

I saw that too and thought it was quite intriguing, will most definitely give it a whirl :goodvibes

It worked during MNSSHP this year, so it should be in effect for MVMCP. Some friends on Touring Plans have had success with using the double FPs.

OH!

And our ME tags arrived at E's today!

I'll only need my voucher though... I've made the executive decision to get my own bags because I don't want to get my luggage at 11p on our arrival day. :sad2: Last year we had to call for our bags and it took 3 hours to get it!

We've got a big first day, I don't want to push it!

Hey! Read the article finally and it was great!!

I have a question on the double FP's to make sure I understand... I'm not sure how much riding we will do during the party but 'just in case...'

We will spend the day at MK and then leave to go eat at 1900 Park Fare at GF. I know we will use our MVMCP tickets to get back in and get wristbands... but can I use that ticket as well as our regular park pass ticket to get double FP's? Both will be active for MK that day, right?

Whew! You reminded me NOT to put our ME tags on our luggage "just for fun" as I was thinking of doing. Wouldn't want them to whisk our luggage off to the Poly, when we're spending the first night at HRH!

Amy, your daytime ticket may still be valid - I'm not sure if they somehow know when you LEAVE the park. But just in case, I'd swipe your MVMCP ticket on the way in, then exit immediately and swipe your regular ticket to enter again. That way you'll KNOW it will be valid.

I dont' think that they "know" that you left with the original ticket. That ticket will be active in MK for that day and so it should work for double fast passes.
