If you put it in writing, you have to deliver… right? A Dec. 2011 PTR

So... thanks to the chat room "Lines" through touring plans, I found out that there was a report on here that said that some of the December blackouts at EP were starting to open up.

I immediately got on the horn to E and guess what?!? We got Garden Grill at 6:15 as opposed to 8!!! That means more shopping time at DTD!!!! YAY!

We are still trying to move O'Hana up a bit, but to no avail. I trust in the vacation gods that it will all work out though. ::yes::

I've also decided that since I've not successfully made it up to the gym in ages (and because of my stupid knee) that since my road is blocked off due to construction, I can walk up and down our road, with the kids, and not have to worry about being run over. If I do the full "loop" (down and back) it's 2 miles. Not a bad little walk if you ask me! I can also push the kids in the stroller for weight resistance!

:woohoo:

Completely OT, but I've decided to rename my impromptu TR...

What was in the works to become, "Okay... who invited Uncle Murphy" will now be known as, "Four Families, One World: A Mome Rath Meets Beverly"

:teeth:

Thank you! Thank you!!

:lmao:

So... last night I discovered I have evidently been clear as mud to my mother about my December trip.

Mom and I took DD to Beef n Boards dinner theater to see Cinderella last night. DD behaved better than most of the kids and some of the adults! Never in my life have I witnessed so many appalling behaviors - the parents were encouraging their kids to climb all over the stage... the poor manager spent most of the night chasing people away. :sad2:

It was the Rodgers and Hammerstein version, so the Prince had a bigger role than the story we are most familiar with. The couple playing Cindy and the Prince were so good. While I had DD in the restroom after the show, mom was waiting outside and chatted with both Cindy and Prince Christopher. Evidently after the show ends in two days, he's off to Japan to tour with Disney! He didn't say for what, just where he's going.

DD was transfixed the whole time, which is pretty impressive for a 2 year old.

What was funnier was that both of the step-sisters were men. In drag. I've not laughed that hard in ages!

Anyway... at halftime (what my dad calls intermission), mom was asking me something and I mentioned my trip in December...

"WAIT... you're going back in December???"

"Yeah, I'm going with Erica and her mom"

And then I proceeded to tell her the story.

"Oh... I didn't know that." :headache:

was he mad or did she understand it was a present?

Thats OK my Dad just realized I am leaving on my big trip like last month while I was talking about them watching my puppy Peanut and I have been planning it for over 2 years

It drives me crazy when this stuff happens and really ruins the event for me. I do not care how old you are, you should have proper audience behavior at performances! The show you went and saw was not a Playhouse Disney show...When I was teaching in the classroom I took it upon myself to teach my students how they should act as an audience...at plays and concerts...no whopping and hollering allowed. My own children know that once we sit down, we are down.

That is too funny! I am so thinking about 1900 park fare for dinner just for the step sisters...but we are already going for breakfast...how do I pull off another buffet with dh?

:scared1:I hope she is not too upset. I know my mother always gets touchy when I talk about doing something with a friend and their mother...even now when I am in my 40s!

She was upset that I didn't tell her... but I had. Her memory is crap and she forgets anything that doesn't directly deal with her.

She got over it once I told her AGAIN what was going on. She doesn't like being left behind.

See my above statement.

Mom wasn't told no a whole lot and she gets upset when she doesn't get to go on a trip somewhere because we used to travel. A lot. But mom's health the past 10 years hasn't been great and put a huge hinderance on little get aways.

HAPPY
INDEPENDENCE

DAY!

To all our troops serving, discharged, or retired and to the families that support their efforts. To all those that we have lost when they made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom,

:worship: THANK YOU :worship:

for all that you do!

Hi all!

I've been focusing on life and my TR that I've neglected my PTR! :sad2:

And I've neglected myself. :sad2:

I'll be 100% honest, I've not done at all at making myself a better person. I'd reflect that in my ticker, but then I'll get really mad! I am staying within my "normal" monthly range +/- 8 lbs, but I'm on the higher end at the moment.

I do better when I work. I keep to a better schedule. Very little stops me in the summertime from running to the fridge or the cupboard. All the cook-outs don't help either! :rotfl2: Like last night... I slow-cooked some ribs and we finished them on the grill. NOM!

The coming week will be challenging for me. I have 4 4-H fairs plus my county fair! We'll end the week with 2 birthday parties! :faint:

There's a bit of chaos on the Disney front too... with the PM EMH closure of the monorail, a rumored closure to Figment, the fairies finally moving back to MK (but where will Ariel go?); I'm definitely on high alert!

Okay... so...

I've got my MVMCP ticket! It came this past week!

Also... I've managed to pick up another fair to judge. So what, right???

That last fair put me over the top to pay off my trip!   !!!!!!

You know what? I've concluded talking to you everyday on the phone and being excited then having to be excited all over again on your PTR is well just mentally exhausting :rotfl:

You know I  you right?

I'm just joking... yeah for MONEY!!!!!!!

It's no problem at all!!! I mean it. My kids are pretty close in age to your grandbabies, and as far as I'm concerned, the more info we have in our arsenal to better tour with munchkins, the better! ::yes::

DH thinks I'm looney at times for having internet Disney friends, but you know what? Our collective knowledge can make special things happen - and that's what makes it worth it for me!

Guess what?

I've got a real piece of planning to share!

What our trip will boil down to is not having enough TS meal credits for all the places we are planning to eat! So, E has been following the menu change for San Angel (our opening meal) and someone FINALLY posted the new menu on the wdwinfo site!

Going over all of our meals, it will be the best use of my credits to pay OOP for Sci-Fi Dining and San Angel.

I opted to eat "linner" or "lupper" (whatever you want to call it) at Biergarten after E and mom board ME to go home. The stark price difference between the three restaurants brings me to the conclusion of holding on to a TS credit for my last day!
