If you own at HHI can you book other DVC resorts at the 11 month??

Or do the same rules apply......where you book HHI at the 11 and all others at the 7 month?? Thanks

With ownership at ANY DVC resort, the only place you can reserve 11 months ahead is at the resort where the points are owned (Home Resort). The 11 month "window" is technically titled the Home Resort Reservation Priority. HH is no different than any other resort. HH owners may reserve at that resort 11 months in advance and at other resorts 7 months ahead.

That is what I thought but then I swear I saw somewhere on the Dis yesterday someone posting that they could book differently if they were HHI owners.

Nope. No difference at all. We own at HH and if we wanted to use our points at say VWL, it would have to be at 7 months. Not that this problem has ever come up as we have never used our HH points for any place but HH.
