As a lot of you know I work at a 24 hour emergency animal hospital . We have several pets that we are trying to place in thier forever homes.
I have seen several threads in the past few months that have delt with the loss of a beloved pet . I do not know why I didnt think to reach out to my Disney community before today !
You guys are the largest group of caring people I know , maybe you or someone you know will be willing to take one of them in .

I can send pictures to your emails or try to post on here .

They are all current on shots including the Bordatella, they are also on heart worm prevention and flea prevention and have been spayed or nuetered . If you are in need of a health certificate we can provide you with one . Because they were all rescued from different shelters and brought to us by our sister company we will not be able to provide AKC papers for the full breed dogs.

We have Thelma and Louise who must stay together . They are 4 1/2 years old. They are sisters and have never been apart .They are very tiiny and cute and are Rat Terriers .They are housebroken and have been with us for almost a year . They really need a good home ! They love other dogs and kids but we have not seen them with cats.

Mickey ( yep named for our leader Mickey Mouse ) he is a blonde Chihuahua about 10 lbs and very sweet . He is very obiendent and house broken . He loves other dogs and kids and he is 5 years old .

Dingo is a chihuahua mix about 12 lbs and is tan . He was adopted out by us once and did well but he has been returned because the new owner after having him 5 months has found out that he is dying from cancer . He thought we would have a better chance of finding him a home now . he was broken hearted when he brought him back . This poor dog is very depressed right now . He is house broken and they said adjusted very fast to thier household . The man was living with his older daughter and her 3 kids the youngest was 5 and the oldest was 19 .

We also have several cats , if you are more into the Felines :lovestruc

If you or anyone you know can help me to place these sweet dogs please PM me and I will give you any information you may want or need to spread the word .

THANKS SO MUCH FOR ANY THING YOU CAN DO TO HELP THEM

We are in Irving right smack in the middle off of 183 : ) We have cats yes we do : ) and we do nto charge for adoptions at all !!!!

We even have a very sweet cat who was rescued out of a ceiling

I forgot to say they all have microchips and I will throw in a bag of Science Diet food for you :thumbsup2

Where else can you get a FREE family member with thier own food LOL

We're in Irving too. Are you at the emergency clinic off O'Conner? (I think its O'Conner) I'll have to see if dh still wants a cat.

Yes that is our clinic : ) I hope you will pass the word on to friends .

I have had a really hard time with adopting out the small dogs and I have no idea why ! Its always the little ones that go 1st but this time I have placed a Rottie , 2 labs, and a Weimaraner oh and large terrier/ boxer mix . NOT 1 small dog at all .......:confused3

It is really hard when I go home to know they are all sitting there counting on me to find them homes. This is one part of my job I really dislike .

I think that is wonderful that you are doing this.
We have 2 greatl cats that we adopted. One cat was from the Flower Mound Humane Society and the 2nd cat was abandoned in our neighborhood.
We have had 4 cats over 20 years and all were strays.
Have to confess the dog was from a very respected breeder. :sad2:

I love chihuahuas (and Labs, and Goldens, and Weims, and terriers, and ...)

DH says he's moving out if I bring another dog home, but I sure wish I could take one. Mickey sounds like a cutie.

(My Jessie was named Thelma by the rescue group we got her from. She had a running buddy named Louise, of course. :) )

Hey...a little off topic...is your dh a ff in Irving?

Bedford . Why you want him ??? LOL:lmao: they keep having house fires in the middle of th enight so no time to wash his clothes before he comes home and that makes for a BEEF JERKY Smelling wash room at our house

So you wont take my DH how about a cat??? I have 4 really nice ones and 1 not so nice LOL:rolleyes1

If I had any vacancies at all I would so take the two RT's! But as it is, I can't walk without stepping on a tail or two. I will think very hard and maybe I can come up with someone who can help you.
I know how hard it is not to take in every animal that needs your help. If I could I'd have the proverbial "dalmation planatation", only I'd be open to all breeds and variations of breeds ;)...

I am at the clinic today if anyone wants to come on by and see Thelma and Louise :thumbsup2

I hope that fixed it , I am so bad with this picture thing. Without my DH I am lost :surfweb:

Thelma and Louise are just precious! I wish I could take them!

I would think though, when a few people see their pic, you should have no trouble adopting them out.

Oh my goodness, they are adorable! You are tempting me, but we can't handle a pet right now... :guilty:
