If you live in an area where it typically snows - I was totally off!

we got almost 4" today!!!..it's been snowing since early morning, just letting up now..it was the 'pretty' snow here also..the kind that sticks to the trees and lawn, but the roads are pretty clear..it's also snowman snow..so I expect to see a few of those in people's yards tomorrow!

I think this is almost more than we got at any one time the entire winter last year..lol!!

As far as I am concerned, this is enough snow for the rest of the winter..so please, you Northerners..keep it up there where it belongs!

We had our first inch the week before Halloween this year:

This is today,The roads are impassable with lots of cars off in ditches and yards...

I'm hoping we can last a couple more weeks...Christmas eve would be fine with me!

Well, technically we had our first measurable snowfall in October-a freak week of snow that amounted to about 7" falling and about 2" that stayed for a day. Now it is December 5th and we haven't had any since. There is a storm brewing in OK that MIGHT get to us by Tuesday but it depends on how far north it tracks. I was just thinking last night as we were driving home from a show at the high school that this is what it must be like in the south at Christmas, all these lights up and NO snow around. I just doesn't feel like Christmas without snow.

It's good to hear that MO is getting snow as we are heading there for Christmas this year.

It looks so pretty outside today! One of those "winter wonderland" scenes..:goodvibes

But it can go away now - come back for baking day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day - and that will suit me fine until next year..:rotfl:

If nothing else, it got me in the mood to take care of my Christmas cards earlier this morning..
:santa:

Here in the Dallas area, it was this past week!

In Dallas??? Do you normally get snow there?? The weather seems to have gone crazy all over the country for this entire past year..

Hmmm, I am in Boston, I will guess December 18...Just in time to mess up the last minute Christmas shopping! ;)

For the past 2 years,we have gotten a pretty messy storm on 12/19. I only remember because its my DDs birthday.
