If you live in an area where it typically snows - I was totally off!

When do you "predict" you will have your first measurable snowfall - providing you haven't had it already..

Here at DD's, I'm guess December 10th..:santa:

How about you?

We have had some snow, non that has stuck, and today we have lots and lots of yucky rain. I can't wait for snow, and I hope we get some by next week, so I will say December 11. My sister is bringing her southern fellow home for a Maine Christmas, so I am really hopping we have some major snow by then, he hasn't really ever seen more than an inch or two.....

Hmmm, I am in Boston, I will guess December 18...Just in time to mess up the last minute Christmas shopping! ;)

WNY here. Snow on the ground for about 12 hours, I don't count that...

I am guessing this Saturday for us. But I don't expect it to accumulate until around the 22nd...

Here in Milwaukee, we are supposed to get about 1-2 inches of snow tonight. This will be the first snowfall of the year.

I am dreading it already!!! I am looking out the window at very tiny snowflakes falling as I type this!!!

We've gotten some flurries already here in Iowa, but nothing that has stuck so far. We're supposed to get more flurries next week. I think we'll probably get our first measurable amount the week before Christmas.. I'm hoping it holds out until after the 18th, I leave that day to go visit my parents in Florida. :thumbsup2

South Jersey checking in.

Since my nieces are in a big Holiday Parade on Saturday afternoon, I predict we'll get our first snow storm then. You know, Murphy's Law & stuff.

It's so hard to tell around here. It's normal for it to snow, but it's also normal to have random 60 degree days, too. I'm gonna guess 12/20, but it also wouldn't surprise me to be outside in short sleeves that day, either.

C. Ann-you know we already got our first snow (Colorado)....we got it right before Halloween....I can't imagine living somewhere where you have to wait until the middle of December for your first snow.

But, if our current snow/cold makes it to you all....you are welcome....IT"S COLD!!:rotfl2:

It's unreal that we're this far into December and still don't have any snow sticking here in the U.P., but I sure won't complain! They're calling for 30% chance of snow every day for the next week here, but it's sitting right at the freezing mark, so who knows if it'll stick or not. DH isn't coming home from MT until the 13th, so I'm sure I'll get snowed in before then at least once!

I was gonna say February 6, starting at 2 AM and ending by 5 AM - but seeing the current weather in other parts of the country, and despite today's record-breaking high temperatures in the Boston area... I'll go with December 8.

In Canada you would think we would have snow already, some think we have it year round.....:lmao:

It was suppose to snow today but we got buckets of rain instead. I can live with that. I think we are going to have a green Christmas. We had one about 5 or 6 years ago where my son could ride his new scooter out on the sidewalk Christmas day.

For me it can snow for Christmas and go away. But having said that I don't like the brutel cold either when it doesn't snow , it just blows really cold air.

The weather man said we didn't get any snow in Nov and that hasn't happen since 1937

You sound like me - LOL.. I'll take it the day that DGD and I have our annual "grandma/DGD Christmas cookie baking marathon"; Christmas Eve; and Christmas Day.. After that it can go away - and if it's not too horribly cold, I can head back up to the lake in mid-March!! :thumbsup2

Well, FB tells me there are flakes in Chicago, so I'm gonna guess midnight tonight.

Now the weatherman is calling for 3-5 inches-but mainly by the WI/IL border. I am about 50 minutes north of there, so hopefully we only get the 1-2 inches.

It's snowing to beat the band here!! Started right after I signed off to get busy with my unpacking.. It's one of those really "pretty" snows too..:goodvibes

Not sticking to the road too much yet, but definitely the lawns and trees..:santa:

When I moved here I was told the area averaged 3 inches for the entire winter. Last year ,no snow at all. Mon/Tues of this week we had 4 inches, Thurs/ Fri we had another 2 inches. We may not have any more snow for the winter or it's going to be a very long winter. :lmao:

I figure it will be around February 6th, 2012.
