If you liked Narcoossee...

Columbia River Wild King Salmon

I hear more on the boards about the Salmon at Artists Point, but I thought it was about as good as it could get.

The lobster is the main attraction at Narcoossee's. It's expensive, but it's an integral reason why the restaurant is so popular.

I had the lobster and it was the best meal at the table. My DH, mom, dad and sister all had the surf and turf, and all were under impressed with the lobster tail.

Dinner here was fabulous! I had the caesar salad, filet mignon and chocolate cake with blood orange sauce. Delicious!:goodvibes

The Lobstah...:thumbsup2
My husband had the surf and turf and wished he got the lobster!

Rockydek - Was is as good as the lobster around here?

I think we may be neighbors. I'm on the Northshore too :goodvibes

Forget the lobster, the almond cheesecake is best darn thing on the menu!!

It was as good as local lobster...I think it was very close to 2 pounds.

We will be enjoying this Sept 24 :)
We are neighbors...I live about 10 minutes from The Hilltop Steakhouse.

Oh and Vettegirl is right....The almond cheesecake is very good!

Started with the shrimp and seafood chowder which was delicious. I had the filet mignon which was wonderful and DH had the shrimp etouffee which he said was fabulous. Since it was our anniversary, they gave us a complimentary dessert including the almond crusted cheesecake which was everything everyone here has raved about! It was a fantastic dinner to celebrate our 30th!

:thumbsup2, My husband had the steak with the asparagus and he did not care for it, said it was better when I cooked it:love:. I had the shrimp /seafood tomato based orzo and boy was that thing spicy. I also got sick that night after eating it:sick:, too spicy for me:rotfl:

Well.... I didn't get the lobster (even though on the dining plan) because lobster just doesn't seem fancy to me. I used to get a 1 1/2 pound lobster and salad in our corner pub for about $12. So, I'm wondering what makes a lobster worth $60. I'm just not sure and lobster doesn't seem like "fancy food" to me.

I ordered the seafood diavolo - it was good, but didn't blow me away. The soup was very good. And service was excellent. We are going again in Dec. and will probably try a different fish entree.

I had the surf and turf which I loved. DD had the Lobster, which she loved. I can't remember our apps but I think DD had the mussels which she also liked. And yes, the almond cheesecake is THAT good. One of the best desserts I had on property for sure.

mmmmm can't wait to get back now... looks like we'll be going next summer!

Crab-crusted halibut and key lime creme brulee.

DH had the scallops and the molten chocolate cake with blood orange sauce.

All excellent, but our server really made the experience. Oh, and the best food we had there was the sourdough bread.

It's the best darn thing in WDW! The lobster was good too :thumbsup2, but very expensive. I would pass on it if I was not on the DDP. They even served me the lobster whole. My father's family comes from the Plymouth MA area and I learned how to eat a lobster the correct way. Getting just claws and a tail was not enough for me. Gotta suck the lobster legs for the full lobster enjoyment.

Dh practically licked the bowl after his Prince Edward Island Mussels! We both got surf and turf - lobster tail was nasty. This next trip we're going lobster all the way!

We loved Narcoossee's! DH had the crab cakes, surf and turf and almond crusted cheesecake. I had the spiced tuna tataki, whole lobster and some sort of chocolate mousse. Our kids got caesar salads, Mickey-roni and cheese and Nemo cupcakes.

Everything was delicious, the service was very attentive and it was wonderful watching Wishes from our table.

It seems lobster is the overwhelming favorite...

The lobster is the main attraction.

Lobster... and it was delicious!

DD had the Lobster, which she loved.

The lobster was good too :thumbsup2, but very expensive.

...however, I feel like I should have lobster in a shack in New England (sort of following DisneyFamily123's logic here) and was hoping to find out what else would be good. Sounds like the filet and the halibut would be good.
