If you like Cape May Cafe... what day do you eat there?

Assuming you are not staying at the Beach Club - what park day would you have b'fast at the Cape May Cafe?? I originally booked it for 7:45am before our Epcot day but now I've decided that is too early and getting there that early (from Poly) is too much of a hassle.

So, I'm looking at other mornings and I'm just curious when others usually do this meal. I can get a 10-11am ADR other mornings but then that means a late start in the parks and not sure which park day is best - MK or HS (not Epcot because we'll be done there by then).

Well, we usually stay at the Beach Club so we eat there on our check out day, but that doesn't really help you.

I wouldn't go from a later breakfast ADR at Cape May to MK. Do HS that day, you can take the boat right there or take a (longer) walk. Not sure I'd want to do the walk before a whole day at the parks though--you don't want the kids exhausted before you even get there.

We had an 8am reservation on our Epcot day. It worked well, because the bus driver actually took us right to the hotel since we were the last ones on the bus rather than dropping us off at the park. They do not always do that, but it is nice when they do. I would keep your reservation. You are on the monorail, but I would not take the monorail. Go to the bus line. Since it is before park opening, it never hurts to ask the driver if you can be dropped off at the hotel rather than the park. If time permits, the driver will do it.

We have not had breakfast at Cape May yet, but it is on my list of places to try. I would make an ADR for your HS morning because there is a lack of decent places to eat at HS. Also, you can take the boat or walk to the Beach Club from there. Hope you enjoy your meal!

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but, how do you get from Cape May Cafe to Epcot? Are they close to each other? Is it walkable? Or do you have to get on a bus/boat to get there? We are staying at the GF and considering going to Cape May one morning before we go to Epcot.

We always stay at the Beach Club so we eat at Cape May every day. Our reservations in August are for 10:00 each morning. We are not park commando's so we can take our time getting ready and still have plenty of time to get downstairs for breakfast.

I would totally book a 10:00 there on and Epcot day if I were you. I find that you really don't spend that much time at a buffet, maybe an hour tops. Since it's a 5 minute walk tops to the International Gateway you would get into World Showcase around 11:00.

That being said if you're a park commando then that may not work for you but I think it couldn't be more convenient if a Cape May breakfast is in your plans.

No buses from Epcot to Beach Club/vice versa--you can walk (very short) or take the boat (makes lots of stops so takes longer-might be worth it if you have little kids that you don't want to tire out before the day even starts)

Maybe do it on a DHS day and hit the park at RD, get your fps for TSMM, maybe even ride it once then head over there for breakfast? You could always do a lunch there as well, it's not just a seafood menu and offers quite a bit of options.
