If you let your kids pick the ADR's where would you be eating?

Our 8 year old would choose Crystal Palace, Tusker House, Akerhus, Biergarten, 50's Prime Time and Coral Reef for sure. AS for places we haven't been, I think she would want to do CRT, Rainforest Cafe, San Angel Inn and Sci Fi Theatre. Oh, and Mickey's Bcakyard Barbeque would be high on her list too.

Mine have developed some wonderful taste in places to eat lately. Our 1st trip together consisted of mostly character meals, our most recent trip had none!!! My kids would choose, Tutto Italia, Teppan Edo, Cape May and Le Cellier. They also enjoy LTT for lunch and they also would choose Tusker House for breakfast or Ohana breakfast.

If you let the kids pick ALL your meals (TS or CS) what would your dining schedule look like?

My children are 16, 11, and 6, but we go as regularly as we can as CA DVC members. I just asked and their favorites today would be the same as always. They like Chef Mickey's, Cinderella Royal Table, Sci-Fi Dine Inn, Hoop Dee Doo, Teppan Edo, and Donald's breakfast at Tusker House.

DD7: Garden Grill, Sci Fi, CRT, Chefs de France to see Remy

DS5: Sci Fi, CRT

DS3: counter service only....

MY DS8 would eat at T-Rex every day - just to see the dinosaurs.

My girls really don't have much of a preference... I am not sure what they'[d pick - but I bet they'd want to do something different everyday.

These were at the top of everyone's list - Shutters, Rose and Crown, Garden Grill, Tonys, Liberty Tree Tavern, and Sci-Fi. We're getting to all of them but LTT, so they are pretty happy!

And, each person gets gets to request one place on top of the ones everyone likes and I do my best...we are only splitting up for one meal so it is working out well!

12yo wanted Crystal Palace dinner and 17yo wanted The Plaza - easy. 10yo wanted Tusker House breakfast and Chef Mickeys breakfast - he is getting CM. 19yo wanted something for "just the girls" so we are going to The Grand Floridian Cafe when Dad takes 10yo to CM.

My husband and I am looking forward to the Biergarten, Le Cellier and Ohana - Le Cellier (of course) is the only one I haven't found at the time I want....

This is a great question! When planning ADR's for our upcoming trip I asked for input from my two girls (ages 10 and almost 9). The first thing they both said was Teppan Edo. My oldest will be a Disney adult on our upcoming trip and she is so excited for Le Cellier. She dreams about the cheese soup! She's in training for becomer a DISer herself and loves to look at the menus and Food Porn with me. She is also looking forward to a bacon cheeseburger. All that said, we will be eating at Teppan Edo, Le Cellier, Via Napoli, Crystal Palace (breakfast), Liberty Tree Tavern, Yak&Yeti, Tusker House(breakfast), Cape May Cafe, Tony's Grand Gathering breakfast, Kona, and Whispering Canyon Cafe. I can't wait!

My kids don't know about our upcoming trip. However, they think we are going next year with their cousins (we probably are). The other day, they asked if we could do Chef Mickeys, Crystal Palace and Ohana. I was SHOCKED. My two oldest (9 and 11) were driving this conversation. I wouldn't have dreamed that they would still want the character meals. I already had CP booked. But I was only planning one character meal. I finally was able to snag a CM reservation too. I think they are going to be thrilled!

DD9 - her top 5 picks are:

Yak & Yeti (TS)
Le Cellier
Les Chefs de France
California Grill
Wolfgang Puck Express

DS12 - his top 5:

Le Cellier
California Grill
Wolfgang Puck Express
Kona Cafe
Whispering Canyon Cafe

My kids love a nice sit down dinner and much prefer being waited on. We are not big on buffets.

Both agree on Coral Reef. They loved watching the sea life while eating.

Hoping Sanaa will also be a big hit this December.

My 17 year old son would pick:

Shula's
50's prime time
Lecellier
Boardwalk Pizza Window

I think if he {or we} could afford it he would eat at shula's every night.

My teen would pick:

Boma
SciFi Drive-In
"somewhere at the Polynesian Resort"

He's not really particular but there would have been years when he would pick McDonald's. ;) The Rainforest Cafe was also a big hit when he was younger.

My kids do get to pick some of the ADR's they are 4, 7 and 10. Here's what they want:

Chef Mickey's
Boma
Le Cellier
Hoop de doo
Cape May Cafe
ESPN
Sci Fi

Well we asked our kids (all four of them, ages 4, 5, 9 & 10) to list the top 5 places they would choose to eat on our upcoming trip. The lists included:

Teppan Edo (everyone's top choice)
Chef Mickey's
Sci-Fi
Coral Reef
Cinderella's Royal Table
Pizza Planet
Crystal Palace
Whispering Canyon Cafe
Kona Cafe

Great Choices I think :cool1: We are eating at most of them but not all of those.

Tepan Edo
Tokyo Dining

Cape May Cafe D
Safari Breakfast Tusker House B
T- Rex

Sci Fi Dine In
Hoop Dee Doo Review
Yak and Yeti
Beaches and Cream (my 11 yr old wants one of those sundaes!!!!!!!!!!)
Oh and not ADRs but for CS my 13 yr old says CHH is a must do for us! Also must go to both Norway and France bakeries, the crepe place in France and Goofys candy company (probably Giardellis too as soon as the 11 yr old sees it shes a choclate addict)

I am trying to find a few more places to eat for our March trip..

It will be me, Dh and DD 4

Cape May is noted a lot do you prefer dinner or breakfast??? that is at beach club right??

What about Cali Grill what is it like and located?

And what about Wave at CR I have heard good things about it also??

Thanks!

CRT
Akershus
Crystal Palace
Chef Mickey's
1900 Park Fare dinner

DD loves princesses and DS loves Pooh & Mickey! We've done each of them except 1900 Park Fare dinner, so that is on our list next time.

My 9 year old would list these are her favorites:
CRT
HDDR
Luau
Crystal Palace
Akershus
Coral Reef
50's PT
Sci-Fi
Narcoossee's

Hmmmmmmmm....w/ the exception of the Luau, that's what our dining schedule includes when we go this December! ;)

Le Cellier every meal for DS11 :thumbsup2

DS8:
WCC
Sci-Fi
Chef Mickey's
50's PT
Tusker House

My kids would pick
Ohana
Tutto
California Grille
HDDR
Yachtmans
Lecellier
Kona
1900 PF breakfast
Boma breakfast

Pretty much anywhere they can get steak on the kids menu and for my oldest anywhere that has good food. I have little foodies who do not like to eat nuggets, burgers, and hot dogs.
