Is JE writing more Plum books? I hope she does, she really can turn it around if she listens to her fans comments. I have been reading reviews on other sites and most say the same thing-not enough detail, more on stephs personal life, more Ranger interactions etc. Do you think she or her publishers read the reviews?

I thought she was contracted through 18. I know from her web site she is going to do more of the Lizzy/Diesel books.

there is an interview with Janet Evanovich and Katherine Heigl online -- and Janet says she has seen the movie and she's really happy with it! So I'm holdingout hope!

Kathryn said she had to wear a wig for the movie to play Steph because her hair wasn't curly or long enough.

I thought Eighteen was better than Seventeen. I liked the parts with Lulu, laughed out loud a few times with Lulu and her Wham! I prefer Stephanie when she is with Lulu or her family, the back and forth with the two men annoys me. There is no way I can believe these two hot guys are going to be waiting around for her. I thought maybe Morelli might be cheating on her with his neighbor but of course no, it was just a friend and he is still waiting for Stephanie even though she is hot for Ranger. A little hard to believe, even in the world of fiction.

Seriously -- I don't know -- does anyone know how many years is suppose to have happened in Stephanie's world from book 1 - 18? Anyone kept track of the seasons or anything? Did I miss the birthdays and other holidays (christmas)? in her world?

will we ever "meet" Ranger's folks? Does he have folks? He's mentioned "family" but has he ever mentioned his folks? We've met Morelli's mom, aunts, grandma, etc. We know he has brothers and sisters in laws. Ranger did menton grandma Rosa once if I'm not mistaken.

I FINALLY finished #18 last night. I can't say that I was disappointed, as I felt this one was about the same as the last few of the series. However, I did think that the ending was a little different. I'm wondering if Morelli will be buying a ring in the next one with the way this one ended.

I have to agree with the other poster who said they were annoyed with Stephanie's bounty hunter skills...it seems like she makes the same stupid mistakes over and over. Maybe Janet thinks this is suppose to add some comical value--but to me it's kinda gotten old.

Mine:

My mistake. I am re-reading the series and in book #12, he and Steph are in the car in a somewhat scary neighborohood that she comments on and he says that his folks live two blocks from there. So he has folks.
