If you have sailed Fantasy after dry-dock, please comment your stateroom # and level of vibration

So after reading the thread about vibration, I'm a little worried about our 7-day Eastern cruise in September. We are in 7076 and 7078, which is solidly midship and normally I wouldn't worry about vibration there, but I keep hearing reports of it so I'm hoping it's not a widespread problem. I have sailed on Dream twice before, both times midship, once deck 7, once deck 9, no problems. Family was aft on Deck 10 and there was way too much motion and vibration for me back there; there's no way I could have handled it. I had assumed that Dream and Fantasy were the same since they are in essence the same ship but I'm not getting that vibe!

So I would really appreciate it if those who have sailed on the Fantasy since the Spring 2017 dry-dock was completed come comment on this thread with a) their stateroom #'s and b) the level of vibration they experienced. Thank you!

Considering you've had one three-day cruise that had issues and the first full trip post dry dock is currently on the way to Castaway Cay, I can pretty much predict you're not going to get a whole lot of info just yet.

We were in 7570 for the 3 night, had none, nada, nothing. Crossing the Gulf Stream we occasionally had a wave hit, nothing mechanical. In the EG on deck 2 aft we intermittently felt a very little, hardly noticeable to me.

I was in stateroom 7650 and didn't notice any type of vibration. I'm looking forward to reports from people on the current 7 day eastern.

We were in 12510 and had zero issues with motion. This is a forward cabin. A majority of the reports I've read about vibration have come from aft cabins.

Well that and the fact that didn't they have mechanical issues on the first cruise after drydock? Engine problems I think. They arrived very late (noonish) and didn't sail away on the next cruise till 11:22pm!

Like I said:

We were on 3 night. Room 8662. Slight vibration. I had to take out or move hangers. They were constantly clanging at night. A/c didn't work first night but got better. Good room location and clear verhanda.

We were in 9170 aft and had quite a bit of motion (more like a forward/backward tugging motion than a vibration) the first night. I also had to secure the hangers in our room to prevent them from rattling. However, it wasn't so bad that we couldn't sleep.

The next morning pulling into Castaway Cay, we definitely felt the vibrations from the thrusters. After leaving Castaway Cay, the waves were smaller when we traveled to the Bahamas for a med evac, the motion was much less. The next night we were traveling much slower as they were working on the mechanical problems and we didn't feel much motion then either.

I won't cruise aft again, mainly because of the diesel exhaust smell on the balcony.

We had room 8656 for the three day post dry dock and had vibration. Had to rearrange closet hangers first night and stick a folded up piece of paper in the drop down bunk bed to stop all the rattling. We also had AC issues in the room.

2540, midship, didn't feel anything unusual other than the first night we had a little rougher seas.

Cabin 8148, Fantasy, a very light and very short vibration felt once in a great while. Not disturbing at all!

We were in 9586 (midship) for the 3-night double dip and we did not notice any vibration.

We were in 8530 - no vibration whatsoever. The air conditioning was another story, though....

We were in 8550 on the 3 night and felt no vibrations. Our air conditioning was fine.
