I didn't get one in the mail, but I did call CRO today and they found a PIN under by DBF's name! We were able to use it because it came to our address and was addressed to our household.

We got a rate of $213/night Polynesian Garden View and $104.40 (value) and $117 (regular) for Coronado Springs Waterview.

I'm in Orlando, so I'll probably NEVER see one (though we get bombarded by Disney commercials) but I would love a 40% code for my stay at the Poly!

THis passholder 40% discount.. is it annual passholder? How do they determine who gets the discount. I have gone 04 05 06 (07 baby so no) and 08 and bought into DVC and still have never gotten a discount rate...

Some speculate that the Passholder postcards dont have a PIN code, others claim that it does. Some DISers have had luck with booking without a PIN and others have been told you MUST have one.

Unfortunately there is no surefire way to know who Disney sends these offers to and why. I've gone 4 times in 06, once in 07, 2 times in 08 and 23 times before 07. I received my first PIN in Jan 06, the 40% off offer. I got another in Jan 07, the 40% off offer. I did not get the 40% PIN in 2008, and got it again this year. There's no rhyme or reason.

My dad got one, he lives in South Carolina. He hasn't been to WDW since our wedding in 2006!

I haven't gotten *anything* lately. Hmmph!

We live north of Toronto and we received an email pin and a postcard last year. Which we used just two weeks ago.
I also received a postcard pin for 2009 just before we left, not sure if we will have the chance to use it though.
We are currently planning a family gathering for Feb. 2010 I hope I get one for then as well?

I'm in Florida and have been going to WDW since the first year it opened. DH & I always stay onsite (25+ times) and we've never gotten a pin code in the mail or by email. Even when we were taking a break from WDW.....LOL!! Only good deals we got were last year when we had AP's.

TN here & really hoping for one. We want to go in December & our dates are included from what I've read in other's posts. We got one last year but there was a mix up & took forever to sort it out. They sent it to me addressed to my middle name (as my 1st) and my maiden name (I'm guessing from my honeymoon when we were there in 06). It took forever to sort out but they finally gave it to us. I just hope we get another one, in the right name!

California checking in here - came in the mail today 1/3/09, the 40% yellowish flyer w/ pin. Yahoo!!!!
Wasn't sure which region to vote, in my mind CA is west, so went s.west.
Came to my house, mom's name. She was one of the 4 adults named in our sept. '08 reservation, I was the lead name on that room. My son was the lead name on room no. 2, be interesting to see if his gf, the second adult on room 2, gets a flyer, too. I'm in central CA, they're down south.

Well, I didn't get the code MAILED to me, but I just called reservations and got it. LOL.
40% POP in AUG, 65.00 a night for premium room in 60's bldg.

My mom got one in the mail on January 2nd. She always travels with us, but we always make the reservations. We have never received a pin code before and we go 1 or 2 times a year.

We used it and got us 2 rooms at the Coronado in November 2009.

Sure wonder how they decide where to send these codes. By looking at the poll, they are definitely pushing them to those in the east.
That's OK, I'll find a reason to go anyhow!

Texas here and we got ours last Tuesday
