If you have friends and relatives going to war

I just want to share this with you.

My father was a Marine pilot in both WWII and the Korean war.

He made it through both wars without a scratch, and lived to be 74 years old.

The pic has ink marks on it because my oldest sister took an ink pen to it when she was about 5. I am having this cleaned up and making copies for my sisters and brother for Christmas.



I wish I had that jacket.

BTW do you think I favor my father? Everyone used to say we looked alike when he was alive.

My grandfather was a veteran of 3 wars - Mexican Border War, WWI and WWII. Even though I don't have any relatives currently in the service, I was raised with a tremendous respect for those who defend our freedom.
